I LOVE the mini 5x5 magnetic so much that I finally got a 4x4 magnetic (this mini) into my collection as well. Now I'm thinking of getting the 3x3 magnetic just because I liked the 4x4 and 5x5 so much.

Is it just me but why does J perm’s and Scs’ Shadow v2 seems to be much more locky and slow compared to other testers? If you guys check out other testers’ shadow v2 M its said to be very similar in speed and feel as the valk 5, meaning its much faster than this. In addition they don’t seem to get alot of lockups unlike this and the one scs showed on their video (probably this one).

And i get sub 30s half the time

My shadow m v1 litterally exploded in my hands. It was brutal hundreds of pieces just scattered around me quite funny tbh. No wonder there is a v2
The mini 4x4 just sounds good.
I know this is a long ago video, but my shadow v2 was amazing out of the box, although I did select the "professional setup" from speedcubeshop so I guess that's not totally "out of the box." But it didn't take any break in for it to feel amazing imo.

Just a question idk if you’ve gotten this before, but I know it’s better to avoid cube rotations, but when you have to do then in certain algorithms or just in f2l, how can I do it faster, I’ve noticed it takes me a lot of time

I piped my old qiyi 4x4 and a priced from the core broke so I can’t fix it. Any recommendations of any 4x4 I should get. I’m getting a gan 3x3 M and probably the mini 4x4 from this video.

Hey Jperm, I use your site for PLL algs but trying to finish the last of them (G perms). Tried to input my own with brackets to identify triggers however they don't follow through. Any chance you'll be updating the sites to allow for brackets in als?
Enable triggers. It worked for me and my N perms

For any big cube until 7x7 the MGC lineup is the way to go.

1/ The one scramble 4x4 like a 2x2 then outer layer like a 3x3
2/The one scramble 4x4 like a 3x3 first then inner layer like a 2x2.

im a little bit mad rn bc my mini 4x4 arrived and in every video ive seen it was good out of the box but ig i got unlucky because mine was reeeeaallly dry. it felt like rubbing sheets sandpaper together every turn and slice moves were horrendous, pll parity takes at least 5 seconds
I've been hearing this as well and I just ordered one. Hopefully it's not like how you described it but if it is then I hope some lube will help fix that.
