I know that I'm late but for the 3x3 I think so you can have larger and finer and finer adjustments, but I also don't really understand customization.

There is a pretty important tip I found to setup the cube,which is:
Core lubrication is a must on Zhanchi pro m.
The middle hexagonal part of the system is going to produce a lot of plastic dust if there's no lube in there.And that can cause a pretty high friction.
A thorough lubrication of the core system could increase cube speed significantly.And protect those two parts rubbing against each other as well.
As for spring strength, I totally agree with you.This cube is only good at looser tension and weakest spring setting.
After fixing the core problem it's actually feels like a blockier,more stable tengyun V2.
Performance wise,it's no doubt an upgrade ; but the core system is a total failure.

Here is the deal with the Leap: the wider magnets are supposed to start attracting each other earlier during the turn (at a larger angle), thus providing more stability.

Nice unboxing as always. The large angel magnetic alignment on the gan 251 m leap means, that it aligns itself from far distances. Thats also a bit on the gan 11 m pro.

3:37 about the magnet adjustments, on gan251 m pro/leap, the magnets the you adjust is actually the corner to core magnets, adjusting only one piece wont work, but on some cubes like the xmd flare, the magnets you adjust is piece to piece magnets, that way its gonna work to only adjust one piece.

Distance adjustment (2) controls stability vs. crosscutting (as with the GAN 11), since it controls range of motion or travel. Tension adjustment (3) is how "fast". I did figure out how this combination adjustment was achieved on the GAN 11; look for a cam action at the bottom of the center piece. The screw adjustment (1) says it's also for distance, but I can't tell if it affects, one the other or both of the other two adjustments.
You can get that marshmallow feeling in a Gan Air SM too by putting a bit too much gan magic lube in it.

You have to learn square 1 cuz its easier than it looks. Just like when you try to learn the 3x3, you always thought it was going to be hard but at last its not that bad. And you already have a ton of experience with all the nxn events so learning the sq1 is easier for you compared to someone who never solved a cube before. And its fun.

for the zhanchi pro m, i have a theory: number 1 and 2 might just be the same, but if you get to the loosest setting on 2 and still feel like it should be looser, you just adjust it with the screwdriver to make it even looser
and the purpose for the large core magnet on the gan 251m leap might be so the corner magnet is always close to it, in other words, so it has bigger magnetic reach (like with the gan 12 maglev the corner magnet was longer, here the core magnet is wider for the same purpose)

I had the Zhanchi Pro M, the loosest settings is still too tight for me as I prefer very loose settings, hence I use the screw driver to further loosen the cube
