- 3 fairly good condition WWII pillboxes (bunkers) near Axminster, Devon, England. They are strategically sited overlooking a railway line (London to Exeter), a main road bridge, (A358 Chard to Axminster) and River Exe. Captured by TRANCEHI. Google map link below to the fields, travelling by car. The access road is behind Weycroft Mill and is a dead end. All 3 bunkers are spread within 100 metres of one another.

(I had to re-upload this clip du)
Cool place. I know of an old Medieval or 17th century house still hanging on under a bridge above a leat and totally surrounded and enclosed by newer buildings in Exeter. Only been noticed by a handfull people in decades or longer. Be nice to see a video of what it looks like inside.
I hear you. I've come across many similar sites that are completely abandoned buildings, factories, warehouses, etc, but can't get inside due to trespassing, but would love to see inside some of them.
Where is that exactly? Sounds interesting.
Good book on these pillboxes is The West Country's Last Line of Defence by Andrew Powell-Thomas
We have quite a few of them but our council blocked them off and you can’t get into them 😡
