      We had the same problem! I use this same recipe today on my toddler and will use it on my newborn in a couple weeks. I'm even bringing a small foaming pump with us to the hospital for her first bath by the nurses! :)

    Hello! You may want to look into adding a natural preservative. Anytime you use water based products they need a preservative or they will mild!

    • @tanishahatchet7883

      Actually you’re using castille oil and most castille oils come with preservative so you’re okay! 😊

      Yes, I honestly use this up pretty fast and distilled water is used. Yes, like you said too.. castile soap does contain a preservative I believe as well :)

    Do you possibly have a DIY baby wipe recipe? Also I’m wondering what paper towels do you use because I’ve been wondering if there’s a chemical free paper towel brand that’s good

      I don't have a baby wipe recipe. Honestly, I've never tried! Were you able to find one to try out? I'd love to know if you did!

    Can I used unrefined coconut oil instead of fractionated coconut oil?

    • @lauren.homeschool
      @lauren.homeschool  Před 4 lety +2

      It needs to be liquid at room temperature for it to mix properly. Avocado oil, or grapeseed oil are a couple good alternatives!

    Isn’t honey bad for babies tho (infants) specifically?

    • @lauren.homeschool
      @lauren.homeschool  Před 2 lety +1

      Infants can't eat honey, but it's fine to add to a body wash. You can leave it out of the recipe too!

    Why add honey? Also can I substitute water with breast milk? Thanks

    • @lauren.homeschool

      Hi! I like to add honey specifically for its moisturizing properties in this recipe, but you can leave it out too. It’s great for the skin in general. Yes, you can use breast milk. Substitute anything you like. This is just how I made mine! ☺️

    Can you use it on newborns?

      Personally, I did! No reason why you shouldn’t in my opinion.

    Can I use Water instead of Distilled water

    • @lauren.homeschool
      @lauren.homeschool  Před 3 lety +1

      Distilled water has the contaminants removed, so I recommend using distilled if possible! 🙂

      @@lauren.homeschool I absolutely love the way you made this... So Instead of using honey I can use breast milk or What would I substitute with the breast milk?!

      @lauren.homeschool  Před 10 měsíci

      Thanks! I didn’t add any milk, but you can use whatever ingredients you’d like to make it your own!
