This one's gotten a SIGNIFICANT glow-up from the original demo, which was cute, but this definitely looks cleaner and more polished. Noice!
Tom pulling those purple dice back out like he's on greed island or something lol
Is that a hxh reference?
Oh man, I remember this one! This was such a neat idea for a strategy dice game, and they've got an awesome look. Stoked that it'll be properly out soon!!
Man, look at that cool edgelord frog! I kinda love him
Tom and dice fit together better than bacon and eggs
Such a cool game! Always looking forward to the next episode. Well played!
Could Tom have killed the rider dude early at the boss to make his life way easier? It seemed like it. Game looks cool too.
the minion can only be hit be the one changing square that is marked with the helmet, so not that easy.
@@klonkrieger43also only stuns it 😢
@@AngoryTom the 3am Tom comment. I love it. Can't sleep so I am watching the Civ V VoD. Have a nice Jingle Jam!
@@AngoryTom It _exposes the scorpion's weak spot_, allowing you to do multiplied damage. Tom straight up grinded that last boss' insane HP down instead of targeting it intelligently, in a very Tom-like way :P
I feel like there's an optimization to be done with that flash terrain. Doesn't that terrain die increase the boost die? Is it not better to place a boost on that space that has the terrain boost and then turn another space into a god space while still having the slightly worse (but still good) boosted space?
Boost die distance is equal to boost strength. Boosting it to over 5 makes it essentially useless
I first saw Ultra c play this! Glad the games getting some more love!
What happens if you put a boost dice on the boosted terrain?
Probably give it a big boost, but the boost die also change the spots they boost based on their level of boost, so it’s possible it would hit a spot outside the board
@haydes1285 I believe it doesn't do anything, actually. I do find it a little sad you can't boost boost dice. Prism dice have the effect you'd expect however (even though it's not explained in the tool tip), where they add _their own_ value onto whatever the effect going through them is.
Mandatory Algorithmic Comment Because We Love Tom And The Editing xx
This is such a cool game! It's good to see it more fleshed out after the demo! It has a lot good potential!
I played a good bit of the demo, this looks so good now!
The game's music reminds me of those Pokémon mystery dungeon games on the DS.
Did you try the endless mode? Love to see how it went if so ✌🏼
Daily reminder that Tom is an amazing person and to thank him for all he has done/will do - Day 1462
Oh Hot Dog Baby :D So great to see a return of this amazing game :D and hearing it is out so very soon, BIG HYPE, I can't wait for that and do very much hope we get to see more as it is so fantastic :D
13:52 Slimy Goober is indeed a Cool Fella :D
Damn, can't believe Tom broke the game XD
Big -Money- Shields, Big -Women- Hit, Big -Fun- Buffs
Nice to see Tom but neglecting healing
I love how it says "die" literally on the screen and he still says "dice" out loud for the singular. Soon the word will disappear from the language entirely.
Nicer dicer 😅
MOREEEE :)
This game looks a lot cooler now in terms of what builds you can do but it looks like it took a bit hit visually
God, I would not rate that Karma dice either jesus that does not balance out efficiently unless you have dice that only have a 1 variance
my god, some of these plays are agonizing
Tom gaslighted me by consistently not placing _any_ dice into the uber-powered tiles. I convinced myself there must be a reason, surely he simply knows the game far better than I.
Why does the game look worse now?
Matter of opinion. As someone who hadn't seen the original art style and only went looking when I saw people talking about it, I like the new one but I also get it. The new one is substantially cleaner, softer edges and almost has a child's toy look to it. I like it personally, feels bright and fun which I don't think enough games are, and fits the _adorable_ characters, but I can get why people might prefer the original retro-ish style.
