ONE YEAR WITH THE AUDIO-GD MASTER 9 AMP, AND R-8 MKII R2R DAC STACK.

I've spent one year using the Master 9 amp and R-8 MKII DAC stack as my reference amp and dac. I thought I would share my feelings, and opinions.

I own the R1 DAC and Master 19. I use them to drive LCD-4. I am very happy with them! I've owned and sold more expensive gear to get here. I also have an Audiovalve Solaris tube amp.

Silly may it sounds. GD-audio attracted me because It borrowed Krell's Current Conveyor Technology , Krell which I'd heard from a HiFi show but at a time I don't have a cent to spend. I just love it because it drives Planar well.

Nice pieces, but man are they big. My whole system is on a small table beside my lazy boy and I would have to buy a whole new rack. Very impressive looking though.

Im really interested in the small brother Master-19 amp . I heard its like 90% of the Master-9 in sound quality .
