    Thanks for the overview, there aren't too many videos on CZcams talking about the controller version. I'm just about to pull the trigger on one myself.

    Great overview and addresses my situation. Tried and own Maschine, MPC and like them both with Maschine being a better workflow for me. Own Ableton and think it has better DAW potential for arranging and tracking songs. I like using controller interfaces and there are great deals on the PUSH 2 both used and new and that's really hard to pass up. Watched several reviews and concluded I wanted to go all in on the PUSH 3 as a controller. I like the searching and selecting with nob controls and the audio interface option as well as CV control. Will sell some redundant unused gear to make up for the difference in pricing so I can afford this. Thanks for your review!

    I love this push 3 controller and its actually the first time I've owned a controller that I was comfortable with not needing to go to my computer. 3 hours will go by and I'll realize I never touched my computer to even with maschine did I experience that. This controller truly is extremely easy to learn quickly I had a hard time learning version of the push and ended up selling it because it was collecting dust

      Glad you like yours bro 👍🏾 I'm loving mine more and more each day 😁
      Funny enough I'm travelling at the moment so don't have my Push with me, but when I fired up Ableton today it felt weird without the controller! Really slow to do the simple things... Guess I'm spoilt now 😂😜
      Anyway I'm really looking forward to using this with Ableton 12. I recently upgraded to 11 Suite so will get 12 Suite in the New Year.
      Thanks for watching bud... 👊🏾

    Haven’t upgraded my push 2 yet. I’m kind of happy with it and don’t feel the need to upgrade just yet. I’m also not sold on mpe, I’m sure it’s fun for a few weeks then would I really use it???
    Although I do like the idea of an audio interface built in so I can declutter my desk. You mention the screen but I would have liked to see a touch screen Tbf. Just so I can rename stuff and speed up workflow a bit

      Yeah I hear ya. Tbh i don’t really use MPE that much at the moment but I’m sure i will at some point.
      I have an Expressive Touche ( software version) and that thing is pretty incredible at allowing you to inject some serious expression in your performances. Since I’m more familiar with that device I use it more than the Push MPE. Like i said, maybe that might change in the future.
      The Push 2 is still an excellent device & I don’t see a need to upgrade if u don’t need to…

    So to make sure I heard you right, I don’t need a audio interface with the controller version of push 3. And will I be able to plug my speaker monitors in ?

    • @inspector-tech
      @inspector-tech  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Yes that’s correct. Both the Standalone & Controller versions of Push 3 have built-in audio interfaces with balanced inputs & outputs.
      You can plug your active monitors directly into Push 3. The only reason you would need an external audio interface is if you needed more than 2 audio outputs. (Or more than 2 inputs).
      In that case you could connect an interface via the USB C port on the back of Push or preferably via the ADAT port…
