THEY RIPPED OFF THE REAL PEOPLE AND ROBBED THE DEMO TAPES !!!!
@@stevens5541 not me :( sorry.
@@stevens5541 most of since The Lost Tapes bootleg CD while at 6th form '96-97
I love the rawness of early tapes, but this should be remastered.
adding compression and a limiter would only make it slightly louder.
who likes oasis must love this
this is real art, no moneymaking
Noel has said the chorus to 'Lock all the Doors' was so good he always remembered it and it is now on the new album.... Which is just as well because the verses ended up as 'My Sister Lover'.
Every so often I come across early Oasis demos that I've not listened to before and these versions I have to say are outstanding. Wouldn't expect anything less from The Chief and our kid
Your chief and your kid are a couple of plagiarists who nicked everything from a band called The Real People from Liverpool. These demos were recorded at their studios in Liverpool.
Whilst both Gallaghers HAVE been fair about the influence and help the Real People gave them. Only a idiot would surmise that The Real People could have written Wonderwall or Don't Look Back in Anger. So to suggest that Oasis copied it all from The Real People is bollocks, every song writer is the sum total of his record collection. John Lennon went on the radio once playing his songs backed by the song's he 'ripped off'.
@@MrMotty1966only partially true brother. The real people must be given serious credit for shaping early oasis
@@slimplim Wonderwall? :) It's utter garbage. Listen to Dream On by The Real People.
Lock all the doors is at 18:19 You're welcome
stole it all .. real people most underrated band of the 90s
This is brilliant I wish they'd do a reunion with Tony McCarroll on drums, the anticipation would be really something …
I don't think tony will be there mate, he and Noel had a bad turbulent relationship almost as bad as the famous one Noel had with Liam so sorry BUT TONY WON'T BE THERE.
He was a terrible drummer. Alan White was an excellent addition.
fedemonsalve He wasn't terrible. If he was terrible, the music wouldn't sound so good. He was just a solid, in-the-pocket rock drummer. Nothing fancy or crazy but everything he played fit well with the song. I feel like his drumming gave the band a laid back indie feel that they lost when Alan White and Gem Archer came in.
Eddy McCoy Mmm well I read Paolo Hewitt's book about Oasis and they say they not only disliked him as a person but that during the early Morning Glory demos he just wasn't able to get the fills and drum patterns. Noel had to fill for him a couple of times.
Eh, that happens in the studio. People sometimes take several takes to get stuff perfect. Paolo Hewitt is just a writer; he doesn't know anything about how music works. Those band books always muck stuff up and present it inaccurately. If you watch Oasis live, like this video for instance, he's doing fine. He keeps time solidly and his fills are simple but tight. Noel shat on all of those guys and they were decent rock players. I think Noel is just a big, domineering asshole really. He's brilliant but he treated those guys like shit and totally underestimated Tony, Bonehead, and Paul. The bottom line is that they created a really solid, chill, sounding rhythm section that worked well for Noel's songs. And I personally think that alot of the original magic got lost when they brought in the more "professional" guys.
I dunno how many times I listen to these 53 minutes. Never get bored with it!
I love Noel's version of Lock all the doors, Its my favourite track on Chasing Yesterday now I know he never changed the chorus which is good because I love that chorus!!! and I love My Sister Lover as well!!!
Never heard a few of these versions. Fantastic stuff. Raw!
Best there was. Best there is. Best there ever will be.
Man, even at an early stage you could tell that Oasis and Oasis' sound wasn't the norm. I think it was pretty easy to tell that the band was going places.
THIS WAS THE REAL PEOPLES SOUND !!
@@pablojablo6371 not really
@Rewired they don't sound similar
thank you i love the early version of oasis
That first song should be re-mastered or re-recorded. It'd be great.
Sad to hear how much work Tony McCarroll put into this - then he was dumped.
What? Alive is a b-side on Shakermakerand it's fucking amazing
Mark ONeill he couldn't keep in time though same as Alan white would start off 120bpm then by the end of the track be more like 150 which is why he got the hump when the band started using drum loops
Could he stay in time or not? Depends who you ask it seems.
"Tony’s drumming. It was simple, certainly, but his timing was immaculate and he hit the shit out of them. Tony’s simple patterns allowed the space for Bonehead’s strumming rhythm guitar playing to really work.. there was magic in the dumbness of the rhythm tracks. The band never sounded the same after Tony left." Owen Morris
It's a pretty important point as it was (one of the) justifications for sacking him...
mickocdub Definitely an important point. Honestly seems to me that Noel (and possibly others in the band at the time) didn't feel his personality fit in with theirs. Of course that's only pure speculation as I didn't know any of them personally at the time, still don't. On the supersonic documentary, Tony mentions how he always had his daughter in the back of his mind and the others didn't have kids so they didn't have to think about that sort of thing. I've yet to hear an example of these timing issues mentioned by people all the time. Tony was a way better fit for them live than Alan but Zak Starkey was easily their best live and studio drummer in my opinion.
Yo your right, Tony McCarroll is underated. He inspired me to take up the drums
Blew my mind. This guy had all the songs in the pocket years ahead. If you are madferit you can’t deny this is pure gold. A band in transition looking for an identity with a clear basement ( stone roses)
Super Demos mdfks... Oasis gonna live forever.
I wish there was a full version of "all around the world" from their boardwalk rehearsals
holy shit where did this solid gold come from l'm going fucking mental!!
Unbelievably brilliant
That Columbia Demo is perfect!
Only Because the Realpeople recorded it for them!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I mean for fucks sake....Tony McCarroll was there in the beginning and gave this band exactly what they needed. A punky drumming style underneath all the barre chords and pumping bass playing and Liam's astonishing vocals. His style was exactly how the band was at the time. Then he just got fucking sacked like a used condom and no one hardly even mentions him when talking about Oasis. I sure as hell hope that he'd get what he deserves and that is proper recognition. So damn underrated.
man, im in a band and let me tell you that - some bands work for that sound years and most of them won't even get close, cant believe this were the beginnings... it only shows their karma mustve been to rock'n'roll the world, no other option
HAHAAAAAAAA !!!!!!!!!
Tony was the right drummer. I never got that couldn't keep time story. He was a big part of the sound!
27:57 Rock N Roll Star !
i love the buildup at the end
Thank you so much for posting this! You make my day for sure. Greetings from Argentina, live forever!
Amazing version of "Columbia"!
Indeed
Best british rock album of history.
Nostalgia. Oasis, thanks for the good times.
never heard setting sun with liams voice, thank you
Though these were in the days before Noel made his £50 million fortune, he still had a few quid, as he was able to afford TDK branded cassette tapes. Anyone who was around in the 80s and 90s knows these were the premium brand of recording tapes on the market.
oh man, lock all the doors.... just a spectacular fuckin' tune, I swear.
+Bryson Mad'ferit it's actually a combination of Lock all the Doors and My Sister Lover
Bloody hell Catfish and the Bottlemen really nicked the riff from the first song, "Alive", didn't they!
Which riff
@@LPGMusic16 0:34 - Then listen to Pacifier by Catfish and the Bottlemen. Very clearly stolen.
Ooh this takes me back. I saw Oasis a few times in Manchester before they were signed and it's how I remember them - and nearly every other manc guitar band of the time - not as 'rock' as they became; more jangly, byrds like with a heavy influence of the roses. Everyone around the scene of the time was surprised when they got signed as they sounded like everyone else and they had almost zero stage presence.........
Uros Ogrizovic come one they totally ripped off The Stone Roses and Ride
No stage presence???? I seen them March 94 in Bath when they were support band ....fucking destroyed my mind ...i seen Primal Scream next week and Rolling Stones ....Oasis fuckin destroyed every other band live for 2 years
Was it supporting The Realpeople and Rain???
Crazy to think Noel Sat on Lock All The Doors for like 30 years before actually releasing it
everything up to sotsog was pure genius!
like the older stuff too but you cant beat early oasis
in my opinion
miss thold oasis. Still playthem on guitar all week but listening to this is like a timeachine remember when colu. ia first came out fucking amazing
They’re all beautiful
The drumming on Columbia is unbelievable
there we weeeere
now here we are
all this confusion
nothing's the saaaame to me there we were
bring it on down sounds class
Damn i love his voice here
You know that Noel talks about the writing of Supersonic and Live Forever as being watersheds that defined the Oasis sound in an instant. Everything else had to be looked at in a different light and that's why definitely maybe became so difficult to master. The sound had changed whist that album was being recorded. The thing was that they could do it because the songs were good enough.
Pure and raw, love it
Never heard these before. cheers.
Great upload!!
I really like the vocals on this
It's Oasis enough said greatness liveforever
In "Coming on strong", I was clearly hearing Liam singing, "you're smoking on drugs"
Thank you, England.
This version of Alive was released. It was on the B-side to Shakermaker. Liam's voice was just cleaned up a bit.
Tempo que não vivi, mas que tenho saudades.
OASIS
Holy shit 5 is a mix of sister lover and Lock all the doors of Noels second solo album
unreal they are so good
Thankyou, just thankyou
Glorious, this.
Reminisce should have been put on this!!!!
The outro to Alive is biblical !
Coming on strong- wow!
columbia is such a fucking godly song. if they ever have a reunion they should open the show with it
Oasis changed the game in the mid 90’s!!
Scary how good this is
this is GOLD
That would be spectacular!
thank u so much for uploading this, im old as this demo
Time for Masterplan II,III,IIII & V to be released.
Pure gold.
Cloudburst at 42:33 is pretty cool but Columbia is amazing
Fade away is awesome here
-Please- you fuckin Gallagher geezers come back for us, take up a new alive and more of your soul
Not gonna happen mate plus liam voice is wank these days
@@Ross_Milton Today his new album comes out so let´s hear
amazing.. some songs sound like Smashing Pumpkin's 1st album.....
This needs a proper release at Xmas. Any oasis fan would love it
The third song is amazing and almost sounds like *"Jane's Addiction"*
Its hard to believe how musically better this is than what noel writes now. He thinks less is more so u get a song with hardly any guitar and repeated lyrics with no depth
Excellent :)
Brilliant
thankyou for fuck sake! somebody who knows what their talkin about. OASIS WOULDNT BE WHERE THEY ARE WITHOUT THE REAL PEOPLE!!!! ive had chris, tony and martin down to Coventry which is where I live and they did a secret gig for my bro's 21st b'day:)
Must be the music
a go let it out super sonic feel
The song around 9 minutes sounds like Stone Roses - Second Coming
Say what you want but Tommy was the best drummer that Oasis have had..hard hitting, in time…the backbone of every song.
I had no idea this version setting sun existed. Noel made out he wrote it just for the chemical brothers.
Mick said that he could not get no satisfaction!!!!!
Coming on strong is biblical
Better than the Chemical Brothers - Love it
God Alive sounds fucking unbelievable
de lujo !!

Fraser Allan Totally agree with you, mate.
Fraser Allan hahaha
Tops 👌
setting sun sounds awesome. Our band does a cover of this just like it and people are always asking "WTF song was that? Answer: "Oasis man, what have you been listening to? Miley Virus?"
haha before the sun-shiiiinieiiiiine
also no Noel singing
Am I going mad or are the riff and bass on 'Comin' On Strong' exactly the same as NGHFB's version of 'Lock All The Doors'?
stone Moses......class
aw yes
cloudburst very rare =)
He defo sounds like Chris Griffith's out the real people
One more thing to convert to MP3 and download to my iPhone
Amazing Shit
