No matter what you say about these movies, I grew up with them, and I’ll love them till the end of time
the movies are good but theres a problem i have with them
like it was stated that optimus was one of the knights in TLK but in the 2007 movie, he first arrived on earth as a protoform, giving no storyline.
other than that, ironhide and sideswipe are chads

I think we’re friends now. I think the exact same thing. This are really epic movies and even though I think there’s way too much of human presence in some of the movies, the actual transformers action is just way too good, and then you add music like this and it’s just a masterpiece. This have been my favorite movies and I know some people hate the director and he’s killed some great characters in dumb ways (like shockwave) but his love for the explosions help to make this movies excellent, I wish they could continue where they left it in TLK, it would be really good

@@madeinmeme9688 Since Optimus defeated the strongest Dinobot in a 1v1 after freeing them and proposing them to help him as a second choice, he could've just killed Grimlock right there and then without saying a word, but instead he still gave him a choice, with freedom as the final reward

Despite Michael Bay, Steve Jablonsky does his job. He invokes what is given to him so good. Steve is part of why I watch Bay's movies. He captures 'Bayhem'.
Steve's soundtrack elevated the scenes to Star Wars levels of epicness.

Everybody lists all the negatives about the Bay verse. The movies are really good in some aspects. I hate these comments who say, "Despite Michael Bay making the worst movies in all of history, it still had a pretty score." I'm exaggerating but still. The Bay verse wasn't horrible, I agree there were some bad parts, especially in Revenge of the Fallen and The Last Knight. But I still wouldn't want another movie to replace these 5.

Grimlock's transformation when he was trying to fight Optimus was soooo incredible. When he breathed fire and then started to charge towards Optimus, my friends and I were all freaking out

I just rewatched this movie for the first time in years recently. Its not very good but god damn the dino bot charge scene is great and the music just enhances it.

the original Spider-Man trilogy music is on the same level as the transformers movie scores, I remember having a Playlist as a kid with nothing but Spider-Man and transformers soundtracks on soundshark back when I was like 8-10 I miss those times

Michael Bay and Steve Jablonski is what makes transformers movies so special and epic. Dnt care what anybody says. I love them
While yes, they make the movies epic, they (Specifically Bay) are also a key problem in terms of story as well as character writing, with women being a real problem in the movies as they're often sexualized (This is very evident with Mikaela and Carly from the first Trilogy, as well as Tessa.)

Despite some shortcomings of Michael Bay, the one thing I really loved about him is partnering with Steve Jablonsky. His music just adds to a scene’s badassery and emotional appeal.

Cade Yeager makes an awesome speech about having faith in what humanity can be that allows Optimus Prime to regain his faith and idealism in humanity.

Apparently both Age of Extinction and Dark of the Moon's Scores had reached the limit of units sold before re-use fees had to be paid, and they had to leave. Jablonsky wasn't happy about it either, back then he hoped the scores can be re-released later.

i have yet to see any other comments talk about this, but the music in correspondence to the sound design was really well done. it makes me wonder how it was put together. like, did Bay give Jablonsky the film and Jablonsky worked around it, or did they work together?
Because... the Dinobots presence on each shot was met usually with banging heavy drums. In the beginning, it was erratic, as Optimus fought Grimlock for leadership. But, as of the moment Optimus stepped on Grimlock's face and gave him an ultimatum, and hence thereafter, the drums have been on point with the Dinobots on the scene.
Really love how the scene turned out, music-wise and plot-wise. The trailers built up hype for the Dinobots in the TCU, and them charging down the hill was my particular favorite. The two-headed pterodactyl (surprisingly, the wiki says his name isn't Swoop) flying with their heavy, metal wings was probably a close second favorite scene, if it isn't considered the same one as Optimus gaining leadership.
Yeah, they changed it to Strafe, and Slug's name was originally Slag back then, but it was around that time Hasbro realized it was a rude word in I think somewhere in the UK.
To answer your question about the sound design and the score, they are usually in correspondence with each other. Steve said so in a interview a few years back. He gave an example of the scene from DOTM where the Autobots are being sent away and a helicopter blades are perfectly synched with the music.

The Dinobots help Optimus Prime and the Autobots fight against Galvatron and his evil army of Decepticons. The presence of the Dinobots definitely helps to turn things in the favor of the Autobots. These gigantic creatures are a pure force of nature: vicious, terrifying and definitely beastly. They steal pretty much every scene they are in. And the visuals of Optimus Prime meeting the Dinobots, fighting them, and then leading them into Hong Kong are arguably the best parts of Age of Extinction.

Watched T:AOE in theaters back in 2014, and I enjoyed it as a child. Love coming back to this now. AOE is gonna be 10 this year.

By Age of Extinction, years of the Autobots being hunted down by humans has caused Optimus Prime to lose much of his faith in them, to the point where he will not hesitate to kill humans in self-defense, but he regains his idealism and faith in humanity at the end of the movie.

My thought is that tf4 had moments that were good on their own but then the realist of the movie drags it down, making tf3 my favorite, and no tf1 isn’t my favorite because it’s just recongnizable enough to the source material that it hurts so much, but tf3 is just so not transformers that I don’t feel my childhood being destroyed
