Dude you honestly should just stay away from these places. Get a best western, comfort in suites, or holiday inn express room. Spring Hill inn by Marriott is also very nice. You can find cheaper rates in those places as well and they are so much nicer than this dump. There’s no point in staying here just for a video. We know that these places are awful. None of us are surprised. It’s just not worth it.

Yea I have to admit I was really shocked. From the start of the vid I thought she started something with him or was rude to him. Studio 6 has a lot of long term residents who get weekly and monthly rates. Anywhere I stay, I ask to look at the room before I commit myself. The problem is, if you close these run down motels, the residents end up on the streets.

Did you look under the bed to see what was underneath that was laying on the floor? Motels with lazy and sloppy housekeepers never clean under the beds. I have seen worse at the Motel 6 in Bloomington, MN. I can't describe here how bad it was. I also stayed in a Super 8 motel in Minnesota. Our room was flea infested, and we kept getting flea bites. The manager had to relocate us, and call an exterminator for the room we were staying in My uncle stayed in a Motel 6 once. He reserved a room with a single bed. When he got there they had no rooms with a single bed available. They gave him a room with two double beds. He thought the room smelled, and was dirty. He decided to check the linen on both beds. On one bed the sheets were dirty, and there was a used condom laying on the sheet when he pulled back the bedspread and blanket. He thought the housekeeping staff was not changing the sheets on both beds when they were giving the room to a single person when no single rooms were available. The housekeeping staff thought nobody had slept in the bed that was still made when they opened the room for cleaning.

This is like me going to Red Roof and expecting the Marriot, then yelling at the staff before i even asked for a refund. For MOST of us, we are not getting out of our car just from the looks outside. Did you get your money back? Whenever I stay in one of those economy hotels I always ask to see the room before I pay for it. That way if it smells bad or looks bad I just get a different room or go to a better hotel.
Reminds me of the Super 8 I got for the night in southern Indianapolis last fall. The place looked good on the website but after all of 3 minutes, my wife and I was checking out. Room was horrible and there were permanent guest that were way past sketchy.
My momma checked in at that motel and we haven't seen her since! Daddy organized a search party and he and those 44 men never returned from this motel either! I live in Bolivia now for my own safety. Glad you got out ok.

Why, she was just the receptionist doing her job. I am sure if he asked for an refund she may have worked something out. The other lady did not even say anything all she did was walk into the lobby and he went at her. IF she gave him guff or was disrespectful, I would totally agree. But, based off this vid I now have rewatched 3 times, I don't see any reason he was mad at her. Mad at the owner? sure, complain to management? Fine. But just walked up to her and started going off before anyone said anything for likes was crazy.

I don't think the lady who worked there deserved that. She's a receptionist or something. It starts with the management and owners, then works it's way down to the maintenance staff. This is why I hate people who scream at the wait staff for what happens in the kitchen.

I agree. And I guess I'm the only one who didn't see the filth he talked about... and I've got OCD and hotels are a HUGE problem for me... I get easily freaked out... but I didn't see anything wrong with the the room he showed except for a tiny pile of dirt in the corner of the room... like where someone sweeped it there but didn't get that last little bit up. I didn't see the whole thing so I'm wondering if he showed more than one.
Yea I have to admit I was really shocked. From the start of the vid I thought she started something with him or was rude to him. But he kinda just started going in on her and di not even really give her a chance. The manager seemed to just walk into the lobby and he went at her. She did not even say anything. They were only doing their job. And even if I do agree with his points, there is a better way to handle it. That is like me renting a rundown room where I live and being shocked that its ran down when I am sure the price and online reviews would have told me that before I arrived. Then I get there and just decide to try to embarrass the employees based off of my decision to stay there.

Studio 6 has a lot of long term residents who get weekly and monthly rates. Anywhere I stay, I ask to look at the room before I commit myself. The problem is, if you close these run down motels, the residents end up on the streets.

I worked at motel 6. In Arizona. 30 minutes a room. You can deep clean a room in a hour.

Did you look under the bed to see what was underneath that was laying on the floor? Motels with lazy and sloppy housekeepers never clean under the beds.
I have seen worse at the Motel 6 in Bloomington, MN. I can't describe here how bad it was.
I also stayed in a Super 8 motel in Minnesota. Our room was flea infested, and we kept getting flea bites. The manager had to relocate us, and call an exterminator for the room we were staying in
My uncle stayed in a Motel 6 once. He reserved a room with a single bed. When he got there they had no rooms with a single bed available. They gave him a room with two double beds. He thought the room smelled, and was dirty. He decided to check the linen on both beds. On one bed the sheets were dirty, and there was a used condom laying on the sheet when he pulled back the bedspread and blanket. He thought the housekeeping staff was not changing the sheets on both beds when they were giving the room to a single person when no single rooms were available. The housekeeping staff thought nobody had slept in the bed that was still made when they opened the room for cleaning.

You can tell it used to be a good hotel.......25 years ago. The only reason why you got new drapes is probably because they couldn't get the blood stains out of the old ones. 😂

Glad he put them on blast. But the Karen rant for likes was unnecessary. Unless, they were being disrespectful or declined his refund. But from what it shows he just went up to the desk and went off. $55 a night. This is not the Hilton, not even the Marriot. I live in a nice area of phoenix. IF I went to down town Tempe, Mesa, or Phoenix and paid anything less than $75 a night I know what I am getting. PLUS I read reviews online prior. This is like me going to Red Roof and expecting the Marriot, then yelling at the staff before i even asked for a refund. For MOST of us, we are not getting out of our car just from the looks outside. Because we have common sense as to what expect. He did, it was his decision to stay. No one made him go there.

Yes the motel was nasty i agree, but Lamonts attitude as soon as he walked through the door was way nastier. Hes a very cheap, if he wants a nice hotel then thats what he should pay for instead of being shocked its not the Hilton for $55. Did you get your money back? Whenever I stay in one of those economy hotels I always ask to see the room before I pay for it. That way if it smells bad or looks bad I just get a different room or go to a better hotel.

Reminds me of the Super 8 I got for the night in southern Indianapolis last fall. The place looked good on the website but after all of 3 minutes, my wife and I was checking out. Room was horrible and there were permanent guest that were way past sketchy.
My momma checked in at that motel and we haven't seen her since! Daddy organized a search party and he and those 44 men never returned from this motel either! I live in Bolivia now for my own safety. Glad you got out ok.
