You could argue Pascal has already been the number 2 option on a championship team, or did 2019 not happen?
It’s not “argue”. He WAS
@@dearmas9068dammit lmao
You could argue that they only won b/c KD and Klay went down 😅
2019…
You could argue pascal is better than sabonas
I’m a Kings fan. Were one of the worst defensive teams in the league and your fix is Grant and Bogi???
Instead of trying to pry away Caruso and Williams from Chicago
Thybulle from Portland
DFS, O’Neal and Claxton from Brooklyn
Wiggins and possibly Kuminga from GS.
Your fix is Wiggins?
@@kb5509 he showed what he can do when he moved from Minny to GS, he was the best defender on that team at times when they won the chip.
Shit hasn’t been going right in GS, maybe a change of scenery where it’s less dramatic and he slides in next to Fox and Domas would really help him.
@@BWalker9313 1 season out of almost a decade is not something you should be gambling on. You would have to pay any sober GM to take him.
@@kb5509 that’s fair. I’ve always liked him as a player, I know he’s having a bad year this year, but a few guys on that team are. He might be awesome here or he might disappear and be useless. I’d rather him then Bogi or Grant
Barnes for Wiggins would be hilarious
Teams that want defensive wings (including the Kings) must target someone like Dorrian Finney-Smith. It might cost you a first but it'll be worth it.
Siakim literally won on a team where he was the 2nd best player. 😂
Grant would fit well in Sac but why would Portland want Davion Mitchell?
Davion is on a cheap contract and could improve from a change of scenery.
Philly would be awesome if they put together all the expiring contracts they got for brogdon and Grant i think that make than solidly the 2nd best team in the east and close to being on Boston tier
Siakam won a chip as a number 2!
Or Jonathan Isaac!!
KOC, you've literally watched the Raptors for like you're entire life - you know Siakam was amazing as that #2 option during the Kawai year. What are we doing here?
From what i remember him and Lowry took turns being the #2 option on that run. Siakam is a 3A on a chip team (can be a 2nd option depending on the matchups/series) if he can return to being that 2018-2019 Version of himself, assuming he 100% buys in on defense pretty much.
Jerami Grant will end up like Harrison barnes
Kings aren’t looking for a 3rd star because of the long term cap situation. Pascal to me is a better Sabonis replacement than as a compliment
Well, Pascual Siakam is now teaming up with Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers.
Let's go kings !!!!! It's our time we need a big man that is good around the basket
Or...... Deni Advija!!!!
i would love to get avdija and kuzma off the wizards
Jokic vs Embum tonight is going to be dope
What an existence you must have.
Pathetic. Embiid is scoring more than a point per minute this season, with 12 boards. It's insane.
@@David-iv6je Imagine thinking Jokic gives two fucks about the regular season after b2b MVPs and a ring. LMFAO
@@EASYMONEYSNlPER Didn't say he did, and I'm sure he doesn't except for keeping his team sharp.
Pascal is much better than Gordon
Boggie would be affordable. Kings should not take on a supermax
He already won a chip being the second guy lol. Also he’s a top 25 player in the league, how many teams would he be the third best. Terrible take
These two are about the only Ringer videos (and Austin Rivers) that suck
Yes, Siakam is not #1 or #2 on a contender.
he literally won a championship as the second best player
Facts 😂
@@chuck2469 Yeah but if he didn't watch it, did it really happen?
@@chuck2469 Not really, and I did watch the series. That Raps team was unusual, more like the 04 Pistons with a superstar than a typical 2- or 3-star contender. A rare beast. By advanced stats, Kawhi in reg season and playoffs hovered around league best, then they had 5 guys with league average stats but great team D: Lowry, Gasol, Siakam, Ibaka and Powell. So 1) there was no 2nd option, or 2) if one insists on that flawed model Lowry and Siakam were so far behind Kawhi as to be meaningless as a "Big 3," and barely ahead of other teammates. Like I said, it was Kawhi and an extremely balanced cast with good defensive chops. (Van Vleet was hit or miss in the playoffs but had a good Finals).
I'd argue this is why Siakam CANNOT be a #1 or #2. His good stats on a mediocre team is classic empty calories NBA player. If you look at counting stast you see, say, a 22-6-5 guy. Star, right? But advanced stats tell you he's not very efficient and doesn't make his teammates much better. As a #3 he doesn't need to.
@@David-iv6je Yup Danny G had his moments aswell bad and good, FVV went off once his kid was born around game 3 or 4 vs bucks all the way into game 6 final- so the last 9 games
I think the Mavs and Indiana should try to get him to try to reduce Haliburton - Kyries loads, both being very injury prone until recently and being small markets and a good/great fit?
Siakam is a money guy so i dont blame them for not going after him
if they aren't gonna give him 5 years & whatever 70-90% of the 5 yr max is to resign him.
wasted time - you guys get worse and worse - nothing makes sense here
Detroit isn't giving up Bojan who's averaging 19.8. And shooting 40% from 3 for Kevin Huerter 9.9 pts and 34% from 3... like stop it..😂😂😂😂
Bojan is 34 and a sieve defensively, Huerter is much younger, better defender and was just at 47% last year. I don’t get the laughter, he fits the Pistons timeline better.
This is the same Detroit that resigned Bagley after trading for him from the kings. Huerter is a winning player who is a threat from 3 and young. I wouldn’t want the kings to trade him for Bojan. Short term pop for longer term upside from a young team
They definitely would...
It's about selling high and getting the most return for an aging player that certainly doesn't fit their timeline
@rickeymickeyii4166 ok.. so honestly, I think Detroit is going to trade their second best scorer, best 3pt shooter, plus a well liked vet for another SG who's having a down year. Weaver doesn't make trades like that. He traded Saddiq Bey becuz he didn't want to overpay him just like Atl doesn't right now. He traded Trey Lyles for Marvin Bagley, who at the time looked like he needed a new situation and actually was having a good year this year if not for injuries. Detroits going after someone big while trying to keep certain players they like. They already going to have a lottery pick and 60mill in cap space there's no Reason just to give away players right now..
