Cool. I think I had did this job the shortcut way cutting a hole through that timing cover. Seal it back up with aluminum tape as it was recommended.
I'm missing my driver door inside window swipe,ii order a new one, how does it go on ?
In an eighth gen Civic? The entire interior door handle plastic cover that holds the switch assembly pops off. Find a video of someone removing the door panel and you'll see. Once it's off, just swap in the new switch.

@@BigDog50001 yes but the paint on the valve cover is much better than on the Element with the 2.4 engine. All the ones I have seen have peeling paint. I live in NYC and park in an indoor garage but the paint was peeling anyway. I purchased another valve cover that is powder coated.
