My 14 yr old , Liver Nose Franklin is the best thing in my world . His stubborn streak has gotten much worse in his later years hahaha .

Wow, 14 years out of a Rhodie is fantastic. We had a huge liver nose that made it to 13 + 4 months. Our other five RR's went at 11-12 years....
Barney is amazing, my 2 Ridgebacks, Bane (4) and Xena (18 months) say hello from the UK
Big hellos right back from Aus to Bane and Xena - & they are such good names for Ridgebacks!
Great dogs wouldn't be without them . I have one called Rio, all 8 stone of him. Such loving dogs but also a family protector

My ridgey CONAN pasted on 4th july this year of cancer
He was adorable too everywhere he went with me everyone fell in love with him.
They r wonderful dogs an he was my best friend it has left a hole in my heart.
They r an amazing breed of dog that loves the family one reason they were bred

My girl Ginger is so good that I left a bag of beef jerky on my end table when I went across the street to get some coffee and she did not touch it🎉

Barney is beautiful! But I'm sorry can u please explain why he is kept on a chain at night? It seems very cruel. What if he needs to go to the bathroom during the night? Also Ridgebacks love to move around at night and patrol the property.
Hi @dalylouis1009, thank you for your kind words and question. I am guessing they have Barney on a lead at night so he is guarding the home area (rather than potentially wandering to other properties), and also to let the kangaroos and koalas move around freely through the night to feed, etc.
