Not-So-Pro-Tip: have a serious chat when you first plant your trees. Tell them that eventually you’re gonna hack ‘em down and everyone will see that they’re not AAAAA++++++ through and through on that guitar top. Tell them they’ll be an embarrassment to the trees that came before them. Maybe verbally flaming the trees will scare the AAAAA++++++ figuring into them, thereby avoiding the need the have to use staining tricks to cover those plain-Jane areas, lol. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I have to say, for me personally, I would clear coat as-is because that is a beautiful effect with that wood!!!
