😘thanks for Your nice music.
Slick slide playin right there
Yes sir re buddy !!!!
Very NICE!!!
Great version of this tune. Tanya Tucker is classic of course, but this is refreshing to hear in a world with junk pop music everywhere. Lap steel guy is killer but he's stepping on the vocals a tad in this performance. Didn't expect the brass either but it worked out 🤘
Pedal steel, not lap. Exactly where did he step on the vocals?
I think that's more on the mix than the player as the pedal is pretty hot in the mix.
@@bobomchobo Yeah the engineer should've turned him down a hair but still.. I'm a lead guitarist myself (not pedal steel, just a tele) who's played in countless projects in different genres and I've played live almost every week for over 10 years. Literally my first year playing live I saw a video of myself and I gave myself the exact same critique as I did this guy. We were a cover band at the time and I was running speedy pentatonic licks all over Give Me One Reason (Tracy Chapman) 😂😂😂 in the verse too! Hahaha live and learn though 🤘
I am charleys FOH engineer and this is not my mix. What people heard live was mine. This however was mixed by people in a broadcast truck who mixed all the bands broadcasts. It turned out sooo bad that our management had to make a rule that only me or an approved engineer can mix the broadcast. Everyone in the band, crew, management, Charley were all devastated by how bad this was mixed. We learned a lesson.
@@csdarlington86 Whoa thanks for the detailed response! I've definitely encountered some TV broadcast engineers who said they could handle the audio but flubbed hard. This video makes a lot more sense with your explanation! 🤘😂
They still sound great either way
Awesome
CHARLEY!!!!
This song was written by Mack Vickery and Bobby Borchers. It was a hit for Tanya Tucker in 1972
🥰🥰

Meh.
Seems a little fraudulent to me.
Still good to see the classics carried on, I suppose.
Lol alright buddy
Fraudulent HOW? The man is born and raised in Texas and been doing country his entire life. He spent 15 years busking starting when he was 17.
