- In this video I am going to show you how to carve a natural fork oak slingshot. I used to make loads of slingshots and if you're interested in any of the old slingshot tutorial videos check them out here:
• TAOW Hammer Slingshot ...
If you're interested in any of the projects that I've been doing over the last 5 months check out my website;

Its been 5 months since my last upload and its about time that I got a new project out. I've bee really busy sorting my life out, getting my A-levels and getting into university. I've got it all sorted now and I'm going to study engineering after taking a year out first. Hopefully on the year out I will have lots of time to make some cool projects and videos for this channel,
Enjoy!

I've always loved watching your work with the rasps to get your shapes down. It's really cool to see complex shapes formed with simple tools. You're very good at it.
NightHawkInLight nice to see you here aha
Yes, I've always been amazed by the quality he gets from simple tools. He 's mastered the use of his most important tool, patience.
Thanks!
I'm really glad you enjoyed the video!
@@danielpiotrowski1681 everybody can use those tools, that is not very difficult
but patience is very important
it's easier to do the hard/boring work if you know the goal
that can also be applied to your whole life (read the bible)
Hey get. It’s ok if you don’t like making slingshots. People just like your content. Keep up that good stuff.
Try microwave instead of oven to dry the piece, it avoids cracking and removes moisture from the inside. Nice to see you posting another video - we missed you!
We all miss you thanks for coming back
Jesus that thing could genuinely be dangerous. Way more powerful than I thought it would be. Nice to see you’re making these videos again.
glad to have you back and cant wait to check out the projects. thanks for the vid!
I watched your first video just before watching this one. Your voice did a lot of growing up in 4 years. Love your narration method. You’re a good writer for videos. Very good project. Thanks for sharing it.
Man how I wish I were still a young buck but now I'm way , way older now and I'm not so much into playing with sling shots but if my grandchildren what to play with them then I'll come back to this video. So thank you ❤️👍👌😎✌️
Glad to see you back. This is still one of my all time favorite slingshots to shoot. even though I have multiples of them
Happy to see you back!
I completely forgot about this channel. Loved this video!
I've really missed your content, great to see a new vid!
Really glad you are back!
I love catapult ! I love slingshot !
Wonderful work
It's good to see you again
I'm excited to see what you have for the future,
nice job on the A levels.
Good to have ya back fella. Crackin' natural that is. Well done.....Massive congrats on the results and uni. Yer a grafter and a good teacher. You'll do alreet in life methinks. Good luck.
Before I write any further, please do not interprete my comments as patronising,or anything other than sincere recognition. Your parents must be very proud of your achievements and the doubtless hard work and perseverance it took to get there. It's young people like yourself that inspire hope for the future especially amongst my generation (55 - 65 yrs). I will try and scratch some cash together at some stage for you, it'll be money well spent. While I'm talking money, I would encourage others to all pitch in, not just for this lad but for the many others all of whom have gotten off their backsides to make things happen for themselves, and not relying on their ill gotten belief the world owes them something. IT DOES NOT. I wish you all the very best for the future. Sincerely James.
Nice one !
Good to see, you're at it again.
Very inspiring !
Going back to your roots, good stuff man.
Your slings look amazing and so durable! Hard work really goes into your work and I enjoy everything you do on your CZcams channel 👍👍👍💙❤️
Love your videos. You always put out high quality content, with very detailed steps. Keep up the good work!
Great workmanship .
Whoa!... He's back... almost forgot about you dude! :)
That design does look like it would be very comfortable. Well done mate.
And congratulations on the A level results and Uni - well done and well deserved!
welcome back! hope you got good results!
Congrats on the school stuff! and Glad to see you back!
This is professional quality video!
what a beautiful beast!! great job!!
Awesome glad your back. Like your videos, keep up the great work.
You are back and the video looks even better! Good to see you and hope you make more videos soon!
Ooooow returning to your roots
Good to see you back, and right back into that wood work. It does kind of always stick with you once you get good at shaping wood. Even if you do other things in life, you eventually just have to get your hands on some wood and work it.
I learned that black looks good for filled in cracks by accident. Some dummy painted the walnut wood on an old shotgun stock black. He wanted it to be more "tactical." I removed all the paint by scrapping it off and sanding rather then using a chemical. The low spots in the walnut still had a bit of paint, and it looked great.
good to see you back :D
Looks good. Looks like you're pretty good with the slingshot as well!
I’m with you since day one, and this video is the first one who looks pro
Beautiful slingshot, really nice work !
Good job. Sure beats anything I built back in the 50s.
Well done young man, another great video,
Parabéns amigo
It's crazy how your voice changed over the years. Great channel.
You're good at making slingshots 👍
Amazing results! You’ve inspired me to finish the natural slingshot I started.
Incredible, very well done
gee i wish i had super human slingshot making speed like you.
Great work! Check out how deep your voice has gotten, young man! Thanks for posting this.
Amazing video (as always)

Great stuff lad, you are truly a great talented young man, You will go far in your life,
Good to see youre back at it, i was beginning to worry you just quit altogether. Anyways nice job it turned out beautifull
Welcome back
Congratulations! 🎓
Nice to see new content Henry and its good that you have concentrated on your A-levels rather than been overly seduced by CZcams. Just checked out your website and it's not surprising that there is some really good stuff on there. Carry on as you are and it's pretty clear that you will do well at uni and Henry Haslam will be a name associated with some very interesting engineering projects in the future
Good to see you back dude, been wondering what had happened to ya.. Keep up the good work 👍
Well done, what can be said about such good and very meticulous work, I wish all people could be so detailed, but they can't, absolute respect from old BG. p.s. When I was a kid, I used the same detailed way to work slings and bows and everything.
You will become a good and great master!!!
Yaaaasss back with the vids
Proud of you. I've been subscribed since your first video and its crazy thinking you used to have such a squeaky voice when you started out lol.
got2strpk I wouldn’t say squeaky at all. It was quite pleasant, though very different.
Ooooohhjj damn son your back. Hope alevels went well and hope more videos are on the way
I thought that you abandoned the channel. Glad to see you back!)
Wow gotta sub after this! Noice content
I've done the same a few years ago using the exact same technique. End result looks cool, but I attached the rubber bands differently, because I was using tubes.
The only appropriate use for lynx Africa
Welcome back Artof!
Great to hear from you again with this excellent video. Glad too, to hear you have done well with your A levels and got the University place you wanted. I'm sure you will make a top rate Engineer with some interesting ideas.
Loved the video, your editing talent make these look professional and good clear sound in phase with the image. Nice touch to have clips from your early slingshot work, lends "provenance" to this latest creation too. By the way I have "promoted" you from my laptop to my big screen with a chromecast gadget.
Nice to see you using your homemade vice for this job, that it's lasting well and that it's up to the job.
Keep having ideas and trying things out. Best wishes.
Dude were you been, I've missed your videos
great ability.....👍👍👍
Nice to hear from you, but mate lynx, really!! I know it was a Christmas present that granny TAOW brought you years ago hahahaha
Good video
nice video
awesome
Ok good job guy
That's really cool! I am surprised that the elastic bands are strong enough to hold it together.
Yeah !
YEEES
Jorge sprav would be proud
Nice
I carve out my own slingshots but leave the wood to naturally weather..never put on radiator as it cracks it as u see ..love the shape that you have made and hope you don't mind but im copying it!! Cheers
Congrats on getting into uni !! What are u going to study and where ? Love the content by the way !
ever casted your own ammo that would be cool to see. good video!
Helo
Its been fuck 3 years since I wached one of your vids nice work btw
Top...
That look like rambone but still a good job for that slingshot dude.
Hola soy de argentina vas a aser mas videos de slingshot
i love your work! but dude, i grew up with wrist rockets. could you make a slingshot with a wrist brace?
Woa
Now most of the muscle strain is on your two fingers holding the pouch.
Amazing nice creation, but I typically see full wooden slingshots like sculptures or sculpture collections, rather than seeing something for long heavy duty use. The most I can compromise is a Rosewood handle with stainless steel forks, or atleast there's some stainless steel being "sandwhiched".
I do so very agree with your direction, ergonomics and power(penetration).
I have really bad splits in my fork. It's not oak. What should I do. All the wood seems to eventually split.
Hey man used to watch your videos years ago do you have a accurate blueprint to make these top design always wanted to make one
Y watch the video if ur gonna dislike it
Joss brother
Unk big game ya brother?
I make my pouches out of nylon straps with para-chord loops stitched to the sides.
Nice, how long took you to make it?
I want a rambone so such but am incapable of making one I have a few others but all cheap Chinese ones, ild love a rambone of any sort by far my favourite but just out of reach for me
T O P - 1
What??? your are back???
Do you have a "for sale page "
I appreciate your work 👌✌
