- A&Z #1072 - Professional eater Randy Santel versus Kilroy's Stuffed Cheesy Breadsticks Challenge hosted by the Kilroy's Bar & Grill location in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana!! I finished up my dietetic internship on May 19th, 2022 and @KatinaEatsKilos and I knew we were leaving for Dublin, Ireland on June 7, 2022 to begin our international travel plans. Before leaving, we wanted to attempt 12 food challenges around 6 midwestern USA states. For event #7 of 12, we headed to Indianapolis, Indiana so I could attempt to set a new pepperoni stuffed breadsticks record and win Kilroy's Breadsticks Record Challenge at their Kilroy's Bar & Grill Downtown Indianapolis location. My friend and professional competitive eater @JoeyChestnutCZcams had the record which was 20 eaten in just 14 minutes and change. Thankfully, I had the full 20 minute time limit to eat 21 or more and win all my breadsticks free ($75 value) plus a sweet Kilroy's t-shirt and the top spot on Kilroy's Wall of Fame. BIG thanks to Jade and everyone with Kilroy's Bar & Grill for the wonderful breadsticks, drinks, and hospitality!! Special thanks to everyone from around the Indianapolis area who came to watch and meet us that afternoon. Kilroy's Pepperoni Stuffed Cheesy Breadsticks Record Challenge in Indianapolis, Indiana (~$75):
- Kilroy's Bar & Grill has 2 locations serving the greater Indianapolis, Indiana area. Back in 2019, I visited their Broad Ripple location. This time I went to their downtown Indianapolis location.
- Kilroy's is well known for their giant breadsticks stuffed with 2oz of mozzarella cheese & 3 big pepperoni slices. Challengers have 20 minutes to beat the previous record by 1 full breadstick.
- Back in 2019, I ate 16 stuffed cheesy breadsticks to start this record challenge. Professional competitive eater @JoeyChestnutCZcams beat that record in 2020 by eating 20 in just 14 minutes!!
- To get this food challenge win, I had to eat 21 breadsticks or more within the 20 minute limit.
- Winners get all their breadsticks free plus a sweet t-shirt and spot on Kilroy's Wall of Fame.
- Note: Now to beat this challenge, you must beat my record and eat 22 in 20 minutes. Please contact operations manager Jade and schedule your challenge ahead of time if interested.

People relax. A lot of us have been here from the beginning when Randy was just a hungry college kid recording his large appetite. He has built an entertaining channel and has conquered some big food challenges along the way. It wasn’t really a competition it’s just that Joey Chestnut is frickin Joey Chestnut. Really enjoy watching these different competitive eaters and the respect they have for each other.
Just an observation, I remember seeing Joey doing this challenge. He really is a freak of nature because he just ate them all so casually and seemed to enjoy himself at an easy pace. You seemed to work much harder than he did. But glad you got the win.
I mean yeah Joey Chesnut is like the greatest eater of all time there's probably only a few dozen people on the planet that could eat as much or as fast as he does.

He never claimed to be better than Joey those were the rules set for the competition. Simply eat more within a limit of 20 minutes and thus the restaurant counted it as a win so he got his meal for free.
