You mentioned the Lakefront sites being difficult to manoeuvre into. Are the powered grass sites any bigger? We have an 8.1m long caravan so the ability to fit onto a site with a vehicle is pivotal. Thanks
It looked to me like the grass powered sites were available in different sizes. Some were small and were only rented out to guests in vans and tents. I saw a large Aussie caravan at the park, so they do have sites large enough for the bigger Aussie vehicles, but make sure you write your 8.1m length down on the booking form so they know to give you a large one. The lakefront sites are particularly crowded because it is a dead-end, so all vehicles have to go back the way they came to get back out, but some of the grass sites didn't have that problem.
I started an Instagram profile, but I stopped using it because Instagram just feels so crowded with people posting constantly and it felt like a popularity contest.
Lovely place. Maybe we will make it to NZ one day, who knows.....
