  • I enjoy testing and using Multitool lights and had a chance to get a used Wenger Spotlight. This is a unique Multitool flashlight that runs on a T 1 3/4 Incandescent bulb that is powered by 2x AAAA Batteries, either alkaline or NiMH. These are rare and hard to find for swiss army knives and are discontinued. THe practicality is limited for these tools but still useful and fun to have for a collection.

As someone in their mid forties it's hilarious to hear "it's an incandescent bulb, so not much brightness." LED bulbs have come a long way since I was a kid.

Very cool, I don't have any Wenger tools in my collection but this one looks great! Thanks for sharing!

Wow! Never knew about this model. Thanks for the video! I do have a couple of Wengers. I just learned that the curved/recessed area of the claw can opener serves as an excelleent 1/4" hex wrench. You can turn your knife into a torque screwdriver with a 1/4" bit extender placed in that can opener hole.

I don’t know how familiar you are with Wenger models? The patent marking on the screwdriver means
it has the locking screwdriver. In the open position if you apply downward pressure it locks in position
and won’t close up on you. Fun piece of history, I miss Wenger they were much more daring in there tool
designs. Can you imagine getting that knife as a 10 year old, I would have been over the moon.
