The Leatherman Rebar is a good small tool that combines a good arrangement of useful tools for edc use and with budget in mind. less expensive than the Leatherman WAVE series and more options than the Rev / wingman / sidekick / bolster series, the most direct comaprision would be the Bond and Curl series for price and toolset. I've had this tool for a few years and it is a primary multitool in my primary edc kit. I dont use it as much as the other tools I have on hand but for the weight, size and durability this is an excellent tool for the price.

I'm a Union Electrician. Carrying pocket knives is a must for the trade. I love Leatherman products and usually rotate between the Rebar, Wave+, and Free P4. But I find myself carrying the Rebar the most. Maybe it's because it came with the leather sheath. However, I do carry them all switching during the work week.

I have had my LM rebar for 8 yrs now. Its gotten loose over the years but still works great. I alternate carry between my LM kick, skeletool, free P2. I usually carry the ST300 during weekends. I agree with your comment regarding having a pocket clip on the rebar. It would have been a lot more convenient to carry. I would like to the LM bond soon.

Ive been debating on the Rebar or ST 300.. I EDC the Wave plus with Rebar pliers and awl in it

The st300 has a good amount of tools and because of its weight id only use it for work edc.
