    • @ExodusCore

No, Hufflepuff is the worst. The Rank like this:
      1. Slythgerin
      2. RavenClaw
      3. Gryffindor
      4. Hufflepuff.
Hufflepuff just looks like a cheap hotel. RavenClaw isn't the best because it is a mess. The common room is nice, but just look at those stairs that goes down to the hideous bathroom. The things simply don't mesh well with each other and it feels as if the gamedevs were ina rush when designing it. Not as much of a rush as when they created the Boring Hufflepuff mind you... but still a rush. As for Hufflepuff... is simply feels flat and sterile. They should have added 3x as many plants and maybe some butterflies? and the ground should have gone up and down more bulging since it wouldhave given it nature feeling.

@@CobraKai63 The answer is no. I found the tower/roof that leads to ravenclaw dorm as a slytherin and the game would not let me demount on the roof. Im guessing you can only demount if you are a ravenclaw.

      @loC2ol Před rokem +59

When I discovered that roof (as a Ravenclaw) and landed on it and realized what I was on top of. I was so excited!!
      Also
Is it just me or does it seem like this game (no spoilers please!!) was originally written with a Female Ravenclaw in mind as the main protagonist. I’m guessing they always we’re planning to allow you to play in any house from the very initial idea. Though when they actually wrote the story, the side characters and their relationships, they probably wanted to define a bit of a main character for themselves as it’s very hard to write a story with your main protagonist not having any background or emotions, or possible character relationships and traits etc. Might just be me though idk.

I feel like its worth mentioning that the "restricted" sections of the common rooms are only restricted if you play as guy. The lore behind it is that the creators of the castle didnt want the boys sneaking into the girls rooms so the common room keeps them out of the girls area of the house. Its totally unfair that it doesnt work both ways but its still a little detail from the books im glad was included.

As a Ravenclaw boy, I'd love if the developers changed this for my house. I mean, having an open mind is one of the main Ravenclaw traits, so I think it would be logical that Rowena Ravenclaw just ignored the stereotypes and forbid both genders from bothering each other. I doubt it would have been too much extra work for her (or for any other founders).

To me, I think I'd place Ravenclaw and Slytherin as the top 2 because they are the most unique. Gryffindor was the first one JKR designed and it's kind of the generic "Dorm in a Castle". Slytherin has a great edgy/shipwreck/aquarium vibe, and the Ravenclaw is like a mix between a classical library and a planetarium.

I personally would rank it as such:
    #1 Ravenclaw
    #2 Hufflepuff
    #3 Slytherin
    #4 Gryffindor
Ravenclaw topped my list for all the reasons already mentioned, & plus i like the skies, stars & blue. the luxurious feeling actually is a minus in my book as i like things that look less grand instead, but it still ranked 1st. Hufflepuff came a VERY close 2nd. cozier than i'd imagine & for all the reasons mentioned as well, only getting knocked to second because of its low ceilings in most places (which has a penchant for making a place look smaller than it should). would have ended up in a tie with Ravenclaw otherwise. Slytherin ranked 3rd just because the first 2 feel better in my book. i love the Victorian London-styled architecture & the water around & the coldness in it. would see myself spending a lotta time in the place, even though it does tend to give me the creeps in certain places.
& then, there's Gryffindor, ranking WAAYYYYY below the others. fancy & cozy as it seems as a dormitory for students, it's just stone castle walls lined with a lotta red &... stuff. the whole place looks so bland & drab in comparison to the others, so lacking in character, that it almost appears boring. i personally don't have a very particular affinity for any of the houses & have actually been sorted in all 4 in tests throughout the years, i may just avoid getting sorted into Gryffindor altogether, just to avoid having to stay in a dorm like that in a fantasy game.

To me, *where* is their "fire" element? All the other houses in their common rooms have theirs (Hufflepuff-earth, Ravenclaw-air, Slytherin-water). It would make *far more sense* if Gryffindor's CR was located nearer the kitchens and Hufflepuff moved nearer the garden/grounds.

Makes sense that Ravenclaw's common room is number one. It is supposed to be the most beautiful and majestic according to lore. Or at least that's how it seems from the descriptions. No surprises there.
What did take me by surprise was the Slytherin common room, especially the underwater part. I was not expecting it to be so cool. I don't think it is anywhere near as cool in its descriptions. Good on them for adding elements to it and making it a real consideration while choosing houses.
I should say, at this point, that the Hufflepuff common room is very beautiful as well. Kind of gets overshadowed by the above two, but it doesn't deserve to be. Very cozy, extremely cozy in fact, and you just gotta love the lush greenery; plants make anything several times better. On a side note, it would be really funny if they add assets suggesting that the Hufflepuffs are huffing and puffing on interesting plant specimens in their free time.
I was mostly sure I'd play Ravenclaw even before most details were revealed about the game but have to admit the choice has gotten harder.

Gryffindor: warm reds and gold, cozy with a hint of regal, but everything has a slapped together lived-in look designed to put you at ease. The familiarity does take some shine off the apple, but objectively it’s stunning.
Ravenclaw: dazzling beauty, yet sterile, regal, and aloof like a cathedral or a Vatican library. Lots of sharp edges and cold stone work. Pale blue and white like the distant stars or a snowy mountaintop.
Slytherin: posh but crypt like, dank, looks like it smells like a fish tank or embalming fluid. Nice view of the fish. The students are the biggest attraction here, not what one might expect from the movies.

Whats also great about Ravenclaw common room is that after you get Alohomora I you have straight pathway to the roof when you go up from the common room AKA Ravenclaw actually has got its own privat broomstick "helipad" which is AWESOME. I love Ravenclaw common room. The fact I did a test on Pottermore years ago and was guaranteed to be Ravenclaw in my first playthrough really got boosted by appearing in there first. I LOVED every second of it.

Interesting, I’d rank them almost exactly the opposite. I think Ravenclaw lacks the coziness that’s critical to a good common room.
For me, #1 has to be Hufflepuff, with its flowing lines, woodwork and greenery, all strongly reminiscent of the architecture of both the Hobbits and Elves of Lord of the Rings.
#2 for me is Gryffindor, partly for the nostalgia, but also because it really feels like part of the castle, and has a warm and welcoming feel
#3 I’d say Slytherin, purely because it’s very interesting, and the doorway is by far the coolest.
#4 is Ravenclaw. It just feels so sterile to me, though it is definitely beautiful. I wish it balanced the cold lighting with warmer colors, focusing more on the bronze than the blue.

They have a link-in feature where you can connect your Wizarding World account to your WB account. If you've filled out certain portions of your Wizarding profile, such as your House quiz and wand quiz, the game will load those results for when your character gets sorted (initial suggestion by the Hat) and when you get your wand from Ollivander's at Hogsmeade. I thought that was a nice touch.

What I regret about Gryffindor’s common room that you have for the other houses, is that you “feel” the house in their ambiance. The values of the house are reflected in the design and the “atmosphere”. Gryffindor there are the colors and the lions, but nothing tells you : “this is for the brave and bold”. For others you feel it.
And I AM a Gryffindor, hence the disappointment. It’s nice, but not for Gryffindor.
