Same for everyone. That never ending attempt to be perfect is one reason his teams have been good and why players like Tom Brady out perform others that are more physically gifted for an extended period of time.

Is there even such a thing as a "private school league"? In my state, leagues are divided among how many kids are at the school, and i figured that was pretty standard nationwide. Their are 2 private schools in the 3a schools, one of those teams IMO should compete with the 4a schools, because they are an all boy school, so they technically have twice the draft pool as other schools, also not including the scholarships they will give to athletes to booster their team

He's a man of statistics and numbers as crazy as that sounds its how he developed his style of play. His logic is he got onto him because the success rate of that is low inspite of the success and in his eyes that one slim shot isn't worth forming "bad habits" as he views them based on his formula.

That's what I commented. And they didn't interview Mason Cobb one damn time, only that kid that was trying to get more scholarships. Mason Cobb, and Joe Himon definitely were the stars, and the QB. The Cody James, or whatever his name was with all the interceptions too.
Telling a QB he has to intentionally ground a screen pass instead of running for a 1st down (or touchdown) doesn't sound wise to me.

It's too high risk of a play to try to outrun the defense if the screen doesn't work. More than likely you will be getting sacked so you might as well throw away.

The situation was different from the last time, he knows he's fast and athletic, so he made a big play with his legs. Of course you want your QB to follow your system, but let them improvise and make their own decisions on the field from time to time. That's how greats are made, they create their own paths. 💯

Hard on the small games, but easy on the games that really matter. U need that ease in the biggest moments. A real coach, knows coaching. This comeback story and how much dedication each player, coach, and family has is insane. I watched this whole video and it kept me on my toes. They should have had a lot more scholarships and scouts looking at the team. Insane to think that they never kick on 4 down as well
I like his tactics but it is a bit excessive at times. I feel like more often than not they don't make the 2 point conversation, also 4th and 15 inside your own 20 is just stupid.
@@josueoropeza5357 yeah totally agree. Why go for 2pts when you have a guaranteed 1pt versus 50/50 for the 2pts? But we don’t see most of the 2pt attempts so maybe they average 90%. Going for it on 4th inside your own red zone is just dumb unless it’s the 4th qtr and you’re losing. I bet if we could see all the stats from all their games the other team isn’t getting more than 200 total yards yet most teams seem to score over 30pts. Because they’re working with a short field the whole game.
