    I did that 45 years ago; I'm enjoying the memories from vids like this.
    I came down the Stone Chute, which was. Interesting. I was fit, fairly skilled, and proper stupid, so got back to the pub fine.
    It is lovely, with the Buchaille, and Bidean (where the weather socked in in 15 minutes, do not underestimate)
    Thanks for that.

    I've walked this bridge, I cried at the top. My pals told me it was just a hill.

    The funny bit is that from 6.15 onwards you can see she is being told where to put her feet, would have been great to hear her comments, good old Ross got her through it

    Hard to say which is more beautiful, the scenery or the woman. The pinnacles look very vertigo inducing. Crib Goch did that to me, and this is a step up from that.

      The 'problem' with Crib and Sharpo Edge is that so ma y people have passed those ways it has made the rock incredibly smooth and, in the wet, dangerously slippery.

      Did sharp edge twice last year. First time in high winds, rolling low clouds and rain. It’s was rather butt clenching. Second absolute beautiful weather.

    This is the muppet that was that they left in charge of the Art School and due to her negligence it went up in flames.

      How was it her fault? She was on the Board of Governors, not exactly lighting a match to the curtains is it?

    • @lisazack6459
      @lisazack6459 Před 2 lety +2

      @@ronan_the_barbarian She and the Board of Governors were supposed to oversee the the reconstruction project, by appointing their own clerk of works that accounted to them and them only. Maybe if a clerk of works had been present or competent they would have drawn their attention, early on, that Fire sprinkler system was just lying around on the ground instead of being fitted. It still was still lying there unfitted when the project was almost complete and the fire happened, an absolute disgrace.
      Nobody has ever accepted responsibility and nobody will. None of them said anything, the silence was deafening. Notre Dame is almost rebuilt and it went on fire a year after the art school. Up here they haven't even concluded an investigation and never will, ten years or so from now they'll simply demolish what's left. It's the 'Scottish Way' and that incompetence is ingrained in the Scottish culture, at every level, you just need to look at the ineptitude that abides within the Scottish parliament in the shape of Nicola Sturgeon to illustrate that we have people promoted well beyond their abilities, even to the very top positions..

      @@lisazack6459 the reality is these sort of roles are almost ceremonial. I'm not saying it's right but it's bizarre that you are blaming her on the fire.
