    Thank you for sharing your thought process! I would love to see a video on how you track student data.

    I liked the way you did it for the first week of school better but both ways were good :)

    I always enjoy watching planning videos but I'm not really thrilled with decorating videos! As you can imagine I go without a lot. However your level of decorating is just fine with me! So any kind of planning video you do is fine with me. I always like to see the process of thinking things through on paper.

    Some Ernie from Sesame Street earrings would go well with the rubber duck earrings. Thank you for your video presentation. Take care.

    I like to watch planner videos like you did today, but I really liked seeing how you use the daily slides on a regular basis. I was wondering if you moved everything onto you one daily slide? If you had something in a PowerPoint would you just shift to the PPT or do you convert it to a slide?

    • @JennuineTeaching
      @JennuineTeaching  Před rokem

      I usually convert it to a Google Slide if all of the features still work and are compatible. Otherwise, I would have to switch in between the two.

    Do you have to send in your lesson plans to your admin each week? If so, how do you do that since you use a hard copy planner?

    • @JennuineTeaching
      @JennuineTeaching  Před 2 lety

      No, I do not have to turn in my lesson plans. I just have to make sure that they are out for admin to see if they do a walk through. Otherwise I would just take a picture and email it to them, which is what I've done in the past. We have all of our long range plans on Google drive that we turn into admin though.

    Love your videos!! I teach 6th grade Dual Immersion and I use Maravillas which is Wonder in Spanish!! What do you do with your old planners?

    • @JennuineTeaching
      @JennuineTeaching  Před 2 lety +1

      I save my old planner for the first few weeks of planning and then I recycle it once I am finished with it.

    Hello! These videos are so wonderful and motivational for a third grade teacher ready to go back and lessen her anxiety! I was wondering how or if you collaborate with fellow teachers on your team before your planning? And if so do you have any tips for better teacher-teacher collaboration and communication? Thanks!🌈

    • @JennuineTeaching
      @JennuineTeaching  Před 2 lety

      We long range plan together as well as meet weekly during PLC time. This is when we talk about which lessons we will be teaching each week in reading and math. As well as which standards and assessments we will be giving. Other than sticking pretty close to that, I do also add my own things like activities or specific details to my lessons.

    Love this video. So helpful!! Where did you get the pre assessment for Eureka Math? We use it and I think it would be very helpful to know what the kids know before the module starts. Thanks.

    • @JennuineTeaching
      @JennuineTeaching  Před 2 lety +1

      We got our math assessments from embarc.online for the questions. Then I went through and tweaked them to fit our proficiency scales.

      @@JennuineTeaching thanks. We used Embarc for the topic assessment and the end of each topic. Do you have the pre-assessments in your tpt? We never gave pre-assessments, but I think they would be helpful for grouping and intervention.

    Do you have a team teacher that teaches science?

    • @JennuineTeaching
      @JennuineTeaching  Před 2 lety

      No, we are required to teach all subjects. The 3rd week I will be starting my first science lessons.
