Tip: instead of making weekly slides (because they change year to year)
Make unit slides
Example:
- Drones Unit
- Perimeter Unit
-Feb vocabulary
Then have a weekly document where you link these unit slides to easily click and bring them up.
Save you lots of time in the long run not having to create weekly slides year to year

1st quarter into to multiplication using 0,1,2,5,10,11 facts
2nd Quarter 3,4,6 facts
3rd Quarter 7,8,9,12

When you have your kids do their writing, do you let them “write” their final copy on the computer or with pen and paper? I teach 5th and they hate pen and paper and everything seems to take double the time!

I have them write it out and then if they have time, type it so they can get in some typing practice.

At first they didn’t because it was difficult. But now they love it!!!
