As expensive as the sport is already. We don't need thieves making it worse. This has been a public service announcement by Silo Entertainment.
bruhhh, why would ppl even want to steal. just so dumb
The guy definitely has a shrinky weeny
why do people steal
@@ItsdefnotStar i think its because they dont want to pay for it
I hope you reported his a&& and gottem banned!
Call the police to press charges so that the referees actually take the theft seriously.
they do on that field if they catch you you get kicken and the cops called (at least that what they said during briefings)
Just make sure you have serial numbers on all your stuff, it's hard to argue with paper trails.
Silos to nice that’s the thing
@@ehsnils he has them tagged as an anti theft measure
How do we know you didn't just stick a tag on someone's grenade and called it yours eh? (sorry I'm just playing devil's advocate here to illustrate the point)
Please do not blur or mask the identity of these thieves. Its so important that they are exposed.
issue with that is the accused coming on here trying to report the video. Blurring their face and hiding their voice keeps his video safe from that
isn't possible due private reasons aswell, they can sue him for it.
CZcams and the governments of the world are more concerned with protecting criminals rather than the innocent.
If only it was that simple. CZcams's retarded guidelines allow douchebags to flag the video down if they don't want themselves to be shown in a video showing how much of a POS they are
Although people are assholes, doxing is just not right. If they are going to be exposed that is up to some sort of law enforcement not silo. (Almost) no matter the crime you just don't dox people, Internet 101.
Damn, in a way it's a blessing our local matches are small enough (usually 20-30 people.) for there to be a sense of "community" so thieves don't really exist at all.
Always feels nice to hear "Hey is this yours?" after realizing you're missing a mag or something.
All my love goes out to the honest airsofters
Yup. Same here. We all know each other. We mostly work with each other (architects, engineers, some of our construction teams, accountants, a couple of local cops and even a retired colonel plays with us). So nothing like this happens. Cheaters, thieves, and angry apes would sour this sport for me real quick if i didn't have this community of ours. Just watching this video and the cheater videos gets me aggravated.
I'm glad you are trying to hold people accountable for stealing. Some people might think you are doing too much, but the culture around picking things up off the floor that aren't yours will continue to be the same until people start being held accountable. Then it will become unacceptable among the culture like it should be.
I can't stand thieves.
I watched a kid bawl his eyes out cause his Hi-Capa he had saved up for a year for got stolen.
The kid was 11 and worked his tail off for family and friends to get all the parts and gear.
Daaaaamn hope they could find that hi-capa
That's sad man, I hope he got his stuff back
Stealing from a kid? That sucksss! Work for your own gear, and enjoy the game like anyone else.😢
Does the kid have a go fund me for a replacement? I’m sure the airsoft community(the true ones out there) would all be more than happy to help out a new person, especially a kid, trying to get into this sport. It’s hard enough getting into this stuff with stable income but a child… that sucks having it stolen.
Lol stupid parents, should had corded the gun😂
The airsoft thief is embarrassment not only to themselves if they friends & family seeing them do that sort of thing but to the community at large. Shame on the theif. Hope the guy gets banned from the field, Silo you worked hard to get where you wanted to be & achieved it but low lives like that dude are scum, keep your held high with a smile and keep going man, stay awesome. ✊🏻🙂
if the field doesnt ban them
sue the shit out of the field renters and marshalls. cuz they then allowed theft.
Honestly, this channel was the first one i cam across for airsoft and i never have gone to an actual location and played, and i learn alot just from watching your content silo great stuff, and a smart choice to air tag all your grenades, tho it sucks that people will just take them when most if not many know that grenades cost 45 bucks a pop. either way love your content
I never even thought about this happening in Airsoft that's really sad
Ahhh yes it happens a lot very frequently here in Greece we have a groop that we play every Sunday and everytime someone loose his mag eth. The exact same or the other day we post for that specific item that we found and the other Sunday we give the missing stuff back we are like a family if u get me
Really? Are you allowed on CZcams even?
@@Gurupimp10 what does that even mean?
@@georgefloyd3468 That sounds really nice
@@jonathanbojorquez8395 Greece unfortunately is not the best spot to play airsoft we only have 2 to 3 big games every year with good situations and stuff like that at least in Athens (capital)
Air tags are actually real smart for this stuff, my little brain didn’t think of that
So, does AirTag stay on grenade after it’s detonated? Or does it get destroyed?
@@itsUncleMonK Stays in them. These reusable grenades are not destroyed.
@@itsUncleMonK yea stays in, don’t put one on a one time use one 😭

trust me
i honestly would of never thought of that either, shows how smart he is when it comes to trying to protect his stuff
Your sniper skills are really good! I might look more into your channel now, currently looking for something more to do and this kinda hit a spot.
Played a site in the UK where some grenades went missing. The marshals took details of what was missing and sent the players to get ready for the next game. During the next game he had a look through peoples kit until they were found. On the return he quietly pulled the players with missing kit to one side to claim lost property. Soon as the evidence was clear that said player had stolen kit he was promtly ejected from site in a not so kind manner
A permanent ban on thief's needs to be put in place, also maybe a check in and check out policy as well.
Check in check out policy? No thanks
@@Younes07770 No thanks, says the thief
@@Younes07770how is that a no thanks??? You literally just show the refs what you bring then show them that you have the same stuff when you leave.
@@Younes07770 the only reason you WOULDNT want that is if your a thief....
@Younesg7 only thief's have a problem with that
I don't blame the guys for looking at the rifle, but the grenade guy was infuriating
Looking is 1 thing, touching is another. Especially racking the bolt and firing it. What if he broke something? The fired ammo wasn't his albeit was just 1 BB. It's the principle. Touching someone elses property is step 1 before someone steals it.
@@LJGator808 Then again, I can imagine playing airsoft for the first time and just stumbling on such a weapon laying around. I would have likely done the same thing out of ignorance and curiosity, if I didn't know any better. That's not an argument for it being alright or anything, just pointing out there is quite a big leap between that and actually stealing it.
@@needmorespaceformyna err you can't use the "ignorance" card when you already know you shouldn't touch other people stuff without asking period, it has nothing to do with airsoft...yet you're saying you would have done the same, that's called knowing but not giving an f, don't get it twisted

Your ability to keep cool, majority of us would have probably lost our handles and just punched the guy. Hats off partner.
People have no shame or dignity taking what does not belong to them and for them it’s a trophy.
Out of everyone this guy could steal... it's the one guy that has a million different ways to make sure you call your hits XD
Also, seriously, be nice in a game and don't steal 😠
He has probably done it more than once
Yeah that guy should never be allowed to play on any fields again. At least on this bigger scale level. Fuck that guy.
Always wanted to try airsoft, but yeah...knowing that my equipment (as already stated on how expensive the gear can be) isn't 100% safe from theft would ruin the experience for me since I'd have it on my mind the whole time hoping someone doesn't run off with any of it.
On a side note, really enjoy that I get to watch these matches at the very least, so thanks for the uploads. Love the Ghillie videos the most.
I put $500 down that theft is not the reason you haven't tried airsoft like you've wanted to.
I mean...Did I SAY that theft WAS the reason I haven't tried airsoft? lol
I only mentioned that it would RUIN the experience for me since I would be distracted/constantly worrying about my things being taken.
Please read others comments more carefully before you try to ASSUME things about anyone. Thanks.
@Raka1890 hey man I encourage you to give it a try and as difficult as it sounds, be ready to let some things go if they disappear. Could be really good for you if you stage your mental for it. Even tho it's kind of a bummer you could always do what OP does and airbag your stuff!
@@Raka1890 yeah among other things, the money sink and potential to lose that money from no fault of my own is why i've mostly stuck to VR so far
I've been playing now almost two years and I haven't had anything stolen. Not that it doesn't happen, as you've seen. But I was a little hesitant coming into it after seeing all the cheater videos and fighting videos, it's just not something id wanna put myself into. However two years later, I've made some amazing memories and a great group of friends, and I can say that very little negative has happened since I've played - and nothing of mine has been stolen!
"I don't have your fucking grenade"
Thats when you start the full auto hose down.
I love how he tried to throw the grenade away even though he knew you were watching him, did he not expect you to notice?
I mean it didn't really look like he was trying to be sneaky about it, it's just that, that way he didn't have to face Silo and it was probably his way of one last "fuck you go look for it in the brush"
Just being even more of a dick. Surprised he didn't put it in that thicker bit.
John 3:3, ESV: Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
ofc he knew, just not enough of a man to face him to retrieve the grenade
He knew he was caught, he just didn't want to own up to it and threw it in front of him.
The only times I'd ever touch someone elses equipment is if they clearly lost it, like a dropped magazine, that kind of thing or when someone offers to let me test fire their gun. But I ALWAYS try to find the owner of any item I find on the field walking back to the common area as soon as I get there. It's really easy to just be respectful and courteous, and its just as easy to not take people's stuff.
Why I engrave all my mags, and gear. So someone does get it, they can bring it back. Has my name, and email on it (cell phone asking to get trolled).
If I find lost equipment, I always look for the owner, no matter who or where. If I can't find them I turn it into the police. I have found 4 driver licences in different states. Really important stuff.
@@mr.robinson1982 Me personally I'll turn it in to the front desk of the field if I can't find the owner. If you can't get to the police station if you find an ID/license or something like that it's got the address on it so you could theoretically mail it to them.
I give anything I find to the marshal in the field
@@Gopnik_putin_ quick question, how do we know the marshals give it back?

wow this really takes away the fun from this experience when u constantly need to check if your stuff is being stolen by someone
Which is why video games are better. I don't blame both sides because getting eliminated after investing both time and money for this event must be frustrating. Unless you're going up against friends or just Veterans who are playing for fun, these events seem to attract toxic players.

Imagine lying about taking someone's stuff after being confronted. That really sucks that some people don't respect other's stuff. Personally I think there should be a stock system at the beginning and end of games that talliswhat weapons and stuff people bring to then count them afterwards ensure stuff is returned either lost or stolen. But it could also be tedious and of course people could hide stuff. Just sad to see stuff like this happen.
not a horrible idea several of the locations i play at already do a velocity test on every gun before the game. wouldn't be hard to add an inventory check to that.
@@13blackg That's the word. I was trying to come up with "inventory" and couldn't. But yea just a quick personal checklist to hand in before you start that refs can have.
@@brodyalbert9214 what the manufacturers could do as well is put their own gps in each weapon or a slot for a gps thing on the inside that would take more than 5 minutes to get off. maybe each thing has its own special key so not just anyone could pull the gps thing out or tamper with it.
It would be nice if you had follow up videos for stuff like this telling us if you got people banned or pressed charges for various scenarios whether its theft or breaking other rules. Like a compilation of things you seen people do

AirTags don't use GPS
Surly if they’re caught it’s a life time ban from the corse? Like it’s literally a criminal offence 😂
Well, it's not up to the course to press charges, that's on the owner of the stolen property. So the punishment only begins with a ban from the course.

*TIME TO BUY AIRTAGS*
airtags or throw your gear into a trunk with a lock on it, care package for the win.
Tbf, we now live in world where even things in our homes aren't safe.
My son plays air soft. A year ago I gave him a large trunk to store all his airsoft stuff in because I hated that it was all over the place. Seeing this video, and finding out that that this stuff happens, I’m doubly glad I gave him that trunk. It not only keeps the house from looking like a war zone (he has at a least sniper rifle, 2 AR style rifle, shotgun, several pistols, and body gear for him and his girlfriend) but it gives him a safe place to store everything when he’s out playing with his friends (2 boys he grew up with and are regular visitors at my house). Hell, I might surprise him and get him another trunk, so that when he’s out with his friends, they also can store their gear in a trunk safely.
If you don’t report em and the refs don’t do anything, no one will ever stop. It’s basically free gear until there’s a consequence.
When someone takes my empty mag I get so mad but I never thought of putting a tracker on my mags now I’m finding who has stole my mags off the field thanks for the idea silo. Your videos are amazing
