Finally Finally I tried the famous "Ramly Burger" which is known for the best street food in Malaysia.
I still cannot belive how the street burger can be super delicious.
I think I can eat Ramly Burger every day.
One burger cannot be enough.
It was a really super happy moment that I had in Malaysia.
Taste was soooo good! 🤗

When Ramli first time launch his very first burger patty in somehow 80s, everyone told that he is crazy. Who gonna eat that kind of food. Fast food is an unfamiliar food to malaysian especially kelantanese (ramli hometown) at that time. But Ramli doesn't stop there and keep going to sell his burger until known all over malaysia. Thanks to his hardship, we all could taste the delicious burger. 😋

Basic guide for tourist when ordering Ramly Burger :
Daging special = Beef burger with egg
Ayam special = Chicken burger with egg
Burger kawen / kahwin (literally mean married burger) = Beef + Chicken burger
Term “Special” = with egg
So when ordering burger beef / chicken special you will get burger with patty and egg.

Ramli burger is everywhere in most housing area, if you see shop lots there’s normally one or infront of 7-11 store. They usually open only at night. Special usually refers to having egg.
Correct ... but Special actually means plus egg in the burger. It doesnt means the special item in the menu, although it is special because you get egg + meat. Technically it is called because of egg + meat, previously they cook the egg like a benjo (round) . But now mostly is wrapping meat with thin omelette. Adding maggi sessioning is a must for a tastier one.

These are the common types of Ramly burgers you'll find from street vendors:
1. Burger Daging/Ayam Biasa
- Just your normal beef/chicken burgers
2. Burger Daging/Ayam Special
- Beef/Chicken patties wrapped in egg omelette style
3. Burger Daging/Ayam Oblong
- Oblong beef/chicken patties, usually some sellers will dipped it in black pepper sauce
4. Benjo
- Burger with egg patties. No meat

Hii this is my first time look yr video, Malaysia has 3 main region races. The one sell the burger is Malay.they are Islam n cannot to eat pork,so avoid to say the pork. For Chinese n india also due to religion cannot eat beef. However, we don't blame as u r foreigner. Very happy hear that u loke our local food. You should add keju (cheese) to your burger, it's tastier. You can go double on the keju (cheese) too, there's an additional charge. Ramly beef patty is always nicer than its chicken patty.

To get the best taste of Ramly Burger, you order a double beef patty wrapped in egg omelette with chilli sauce only. Skip the mayonnaise and cheese. That's how it's traditionally done back then. I still love eating it this way till today.
