- Early Thursday morning, Cornell University student Bryce Demopoulos pulled a man off of the tracks at the Third Ave, 138 St. subway station shortly before a No. 6 train arrived.

My cousin has epilepsy and once fell onto the tracks on an empty platform. He couldn’t speak or call for help. So grateful to the 2 men who ran and jumped down to lift him to safety. Some people are angelic.

I watched a young man take his own life right in front of me in this exact way at a train station overseas. So many people are in such grueling pain either physically and/or mentally. This particular gentleman displayed what makes true everyday HERO. God Bless him❤️

I was pushed on to the subway tracks when I was 14 years old. This was a scary reminder. I was knocked out for a few sec next thing I know I was on the track. My friend and his boy had to jump down and throw me up on to the platform. It was an express train too. So scary to see again. This guy is a hero

No one was actually in danger, because:
1. "Security footage" is too clear.
2. The guy doesn't have suicidal intentions as he doesn't hesitate to follow the other guy out.
3. He wasn't stuck or unconscious in any way, he could get out whenever he wanted.
4. We see no train except for the sound effect that we don't know for sure it's the train coming.
I'm 80% sure the train could have stopped in time. Subway trains have less momentum than long distance trains
