This Sunday, Bishop kept trying to preach to us from Luke Chap. 4, but his church had a Praise of Victory and Thanksgiving that kept trying to get through.....eventually, it did!!!
After he couldn't get to his message because of the praise, he did as he usually did, asked his Pastoral Asst. Mother Deola Wells Johnson to "open the doors of the church" as ONLY she could!
Bless Mother soul!!!! Hallelujah Thank You Jesus!!!!

Im a UHC minister man, and I feel the exact same way you do. Noone could tell a story like this man, so effortlessly and yet so powerful. I would be sitting on my couch in college a decade ago, watching his broadcast, next thing I know I was airborne, and when I landed, I was running around my apartment shouting and screaming and sometimes even speaking in tongues! No other preacher evoked such emotion, and stireed up my Holy Ghost, like Bishop.

Im not even COGIC, lol, but he transcended beyond denominational lines and touched millions from lil ole Memphis. A kat frum his church uploaded his last sermon yesterday, its on my page, where he preached from his chair cus he was too weak to stand.....I cried again, it was too much to take man. I know I'm sounding like a punk rite now, but I loved Bishop, so I'll be that. lol
i live in memphis and i love G.E patterson but im not cogic im non-demonational i stl luv his i luv any church long as it has the holy ghost

I joined a baptist church in raleigh 2yrs ago...but one thing is certain, I'll continue to fellowship with the UHCA...I've always enjoyed myself...when is the next International and Southern District Convocation?

UHC is also the OLDEST black american, pentecostal denomination. It's oldest church (the Mother Church) is Providence United Holy Church, Raleigh, NC, founded in 1882! So, we were Sanctfied and Filled with the Holy Ghost long before Azusa even had it's first street sign posted!

LOL...no sir...I thought about joining New Stoney Hill in Goldsboro once before...I started attending service here and there just five years ago...but I take it upon myself to be informed of church denominations I attend...

WOW - remembering the old days of convocation at Branch Memorial in Goldsboro. We were just at Providence about two months ago with Pastor and Lady Stancil. Did he pull out of UHC?
