SPOILER Currently in the manga kafka(kaiju no 8) and molted kaiju number 9 (he also stole the weapon created using kaiju no 2's body) are fighting and number 9 destroyed kafka but then mina joined him so they're both up against it. I think that kaiju no 8's full potential is way past no 9's power but kafka hasn't mastered it yet.
