"Took 16 minutes for the cops to show up." Is the most important takeaway for me. People think they can call the cops and somehow they will just teleport to your front door. That's not reality. Your gonna be on your own for a bit, you better be prepared to fight for your life and you families as well. In 16 minutes you could be robbed, killed and the bad guy gone in the wind.

Also what I learned from the whole George Zimmerman thing is that you only dial 911 when the shootings done. Of you call dispatch and they tell you to put your gun away and hide and you end up having to shoot the guy they will try you for murder. Only call 911 when there us a body for them to drive off with.

Absolutely especially for like a road rage situation which happens very often because people are so triggered nowadays and selfish. Just empty the magazine with the burner five pepper balls into the cabin of their vehicle should adjust their attitude if that doesn't stop them well then you got to go to your plan B which is lethal Force.

@@Sandhill1988 That might not be a necessarily good idea, the best thing you can do in road rage incidents is simply gtfo, its never worth injury/life/or potentially getting in trouble with the law yourself(as much as Id prefer to do otherwise at times). Not to mention, if someone sees you pull out something that looks like a real firearm, they may pull out a real firearm themselves thinking that youre resorting to lethal force. Personally I wouldnt want to have to carry both, so id take carrying a sig p320/p365 over the less lethal option any day of the week should I ever be in a situation where its genuinely needed.

This is a classic carjacker's move, have one guy laying on the ground pretending to be dead, while someone else waits. You get out, check if the guy's OK, and next thing you know there's a gun in your face. If you ever see that, in a parking lot, alley, or anything, immediately get the hell out of there and call the police. Don't check the body. Don't stay parked while you call either, that makes you a sitting duck. Get out of there and call it in when you're out of the area. And if you see anyone running towards your car, do not slow down, do not swerve out of the way. They rely on people stopping to avoid hitting them.

A kinetic impact projectile to a sensitive body part will give someone a moment of pause to decide whether they really want to continue and risk being shot at closer range in the head, groin, etc. For some that's all it will take to change their mind. Combine that with a chemical round and it can be very effective.
