How to develop your tacks part 1

Good tacks are a vital part of sailing well.
The first step is having good rudder and tiller control so you can steer accurately from close haul to close haul. How you cross the boat will be important to this.
Until this is mastered tacking in strong winds and roll tacks will be out of reach.
Slow the tack down to start with until you have these points mastered.
