    Hello Markus. I saw you have used both the SEP 25x26 and the Ramoser 25,9SG on this plane/Moki. Which prop do prefer in terms of performance and sound? Which prop is makes the less noise? Many thanks Didier

    • @RCPLANEVIDEOS
      @RCPLANEVIDEOS  Před 2 lety +1

      hello, the ramoser is the best propeller because you can adjust the pitch so until it fits perfectly. Then no propeller screams either 😉

    With moki s180 installed ,this plane nose heavy or tail heavy? Im thinking of installing kolm il150 3cylinder inoine with little modification of firewall but the kolm il150 is 7kg. Mokis180 is only 4.6kg

    • @RCPLANEVIDEOS
      @RCPLANEVIDEOS  Před 4 lety

      I do not have the model anymore, but I think the kolm is too much. The engine is too long, too heavy ... you need a CARF Spitfire or P-51 for this Kolm engine

      - 3x 3-blade SG 25.9 "
      You have to email Christian Ramoser or your retailer if he has a motor flange for the UMS. If he does not need the dimensions of the hole from the engine, he'll make you one. Spinner you buy a normal where the LA-7 fits ;-)

      You install it on the original gear mounting location by cy model or any modification? One of my friend in usa told me that installing on the original location making the plane nose over so they use the sierra Anderson retract and relocate the mounting near to the fuselage. I'm getting this kit but need to confirm which retract to buy. Thats why I'm surveying

    • @RCPLANEVIDEOS
      @RCPLANEVIDEOS  Před 5 lety

      no, you have to change a lot on the model for a 180Moki. The gear chassis must be inclined forward, otherwise the model tilts on the nose. The tube could be too short of the wings, you have to measure.

    • @vicyboy12
      @vicyboy12 Před 5 lety

    • @RCPLANEVIDEOS
      @RCPLANEVIDEOS  Před 5 lety

      - check all ribs (hull), glue back or glue in again
      - Check engine frame, if necessary, rebuild
      - Modify the landing gear shaft or rebuild it and put it diagonally forward, otherwise the headstand is announced otherwise
      - wing tube could be too short (4-5cm), necessarily measure and if so buy new
      - Definitely remove these wing threaded bolts and replace them with bolts from the back. In addition, maybe two pins in the area.
      - Reinforce fuselage with 2-3 GFK mats, more because of transport, I would say that is quite thin, otherwise cracks can occur which would be annoying
      - SP on 195mm
      - Air outlet note that there is enough available
      Interesting, especially see chassis (gear) pictures:
