What you need to do to get your extension sockets working is, take out the cable from the master socket going to the extension sockets, wire a junction box from a telephone cable to the extension sockets then get a line splitter, plug that cable into the splitter then plug your main telephone into the splitter then plug the splitter in the green socket then hopefully it should liven up those sockets.
