The stuff you are talking about when the baby is born on the skin ( called Vernix) is actually meant to stay to help regulate temperature of the body and it helps protect baby skin . No need to wipe it off the first day.💙

I love the way you organized your bag….I feel like having an organized hospital bag makes things so much easier because you know where everything is, and you can reach for things much faster.
Great baby bag, as a mum already I would just say maybe bring some extra vests and muslins and wipes as poop and sick accidents do happen! Also make sure you pack some of the ready made bottled formula maybe just a pack of 4, you may be planning on breast feeding but it doesn’t always work out, I learnt the hard way, so no harm in being prepared! Also the bag is beautiful and lovely, but you may find once you start going out a backpack is easier so you have both hands ready to deal with whatever happens, I have twins and I had a beautiful hold-all bag and I needed to change it pretty quick as I just couldn’t manage! Best of luck these last few weeks will fly by!

Hey! Just a little bit of advice from a mama of 3. Yeah I would definitely add more vests and grows as baby tends to vomit a lot and poop a lot 🙈 and with your baby being a boy.. they tend to wee all over the first few days. Congratulations and can't wait to see your little boy 💙
Wow I was just going to say they provide everything!!! And they recommend not putting clothes on my daughter because she was in the nicu an they would be swaddled and they even provided formula but I breast feed they even provided a breast pump in the hospital!! I was in there for 6 days because c section and preeclampsia
It‘s lovely to see how prepared you are! I would def recommend some bodies/vests which you can open all the way in the front (kinda like a jacket) just because it can be a struggle to put something over a babies head. It might make your life a little easier! 👍
Just from personal experience I have found that my baby's love having lots of colours in their room. They love looking around and they generally gravitate to more colourful things.
Hey Sophie so excited for you, I'd bring 2 more vests and baby grows. I only brought 2 of each thinking I'd be out quickly. I ended staying 5 days luckily my family members helped by bringing bits in. I'd also bring a couple different sizes I brought all newborn and ended up having to send my partner out to buy tiny baby bits because everything was so big on him. @@jenniferescalante370 well, it’s pretty obvious that her family is all chipping in to raise the child… and I’m sure Rosie is being scolded behind closed doors to not go and get pregnant so foolishly early and focus on university and her bright career ahead. Hopefully this little boyfriend she has is the father, and she’s not in the dark about who the father of her child is. When they break up, at least it will keep child custody/support struggles to a minimum. You’re right, it’s nothing to be PROUD over, but the fact that her family is swooping in so quickly to help her is the best possible outcome for this innocent child, ya know? Plenty of 18yo girls have babies and don’t have wealthy supportive families to swoop in and those babies suffer even more. All things considered, better Sophia than Rosie, ya know? Rosie has a really bright future ahead and it would be an absolute shame if she made the same mistake.
As a first time mum people make mistake so don’t feel like your not doing a good job. I just wanted you to know that. It will all come natural to you when he’s here. Lots of love and nothing but the best. Also love the outfits very cute ❤
I would suggest a baby burp rag little ones can get a little bit gassy after feeds so you burb them essentially rubbing and lightly patting there back that’s a good thing to pack keeps you clean and I would suggest a bottle you probably will plan on breast feeding but bring one in case some Littles have a hard time latching at the beginning and don’t forget the car seat lol also side note if you read this some babies especially newborns do better with nook packs if you know what those are so maybe bring one of those to try (do you have any footless sleepers? We call them in the us baby sleeper sacks I think) those are handy because the newborns get checked a lot so as little buttons you have to undo is sometimes a better option

I recommend packing a little more, I’m sure people could bring you things if you stay longer. I would bring some really easy zippy onsies! Overnight it’s so much easier for you. Also get a name plaque because it’s so cute 🥰. I’m 33 weeks with my second so I’m feeling it haha

Defo pack more baby grows and vests as you will never know how long you will be in the hospital for, take tiny baby ones and 0 to 3 months. You could also maybe pack baby bath stuff like the soap & lotions cause they teach you how to bath the baby when you’re a first time mom! Or they did for me anyways idk how it works in the UK aha. I’m pregnant with my 2nd now, 13 years after my 1st so I’m freaking out it’s like all new all over again lol. Very exciting though! It didn’t even feel real til my first ultrasound! I’m so excited! Also congrats to you can’t wait to see the little bundle of joy ❤
Just a heads up pack some preemie outs, 0-3 and 3-6 outfits too. Sometimes babies come out smaller or bigger than expected. Happens often. Also congratulations on your pregnancy!!!! Huge fan of yours 🙌🏼💛

Pacifiers are great because they calm the baby and they like being able to suck on something. It is good to use them because it keeps them from sucking their thumb which comes in handy later when you want to stop them from having a pacifier because you can’t take away their thumb 😊

Hi Sophia, have a safe and easy delivery, your baby bag is beautiful love the design! You brought so many things you'll later find out you won't be needing , most of the things the hospital provides which is good you can save your nappies,( saves money) also clothing they provide I'd say only two outfits is enough to choose between for when you'll take him home ,but I understand first time mom,you wanna make sure you still got everything also I get the excitement to bring everything lol I've been there, take advantage of whatever the hospital gives for your baby they dress him and bath him, you can too if you want to,but you'll have plenty of that when you'll leave the hospital, from my experience you concentrate at feeding him and hugging and changing his nappies while there and rest while you can, cause there's no resting for 3 years at least afterwards lol

Babygrows normally have inbuilt mittens now, those mittens you have are useless they fall off 😅 also you may need a few more babygrows vests and bibs just in case he has reflux ( i didn’t bring enough ) and my 3rd had awful reflux she’s 8 months and still had it 😅 I couldn’t believe how many babygrows Vets’s bibs and muslins she went through, beautiful haul though lovely I adore white on baby’s too! ❤ so excited for you xx

Usually hospitals carry diapers and wipes that they give you when your baby is born so it helps save space in your bag💗

Buy a preemie size for coming home clothing. It will fit much nicer than size 0-3 months.

Yes they do but people always bring there own
They don’t provide much but even when they do, people don’t use them. Stuff like nappies/diapers aren’t provided
