@@MontagnaMagica that statement doesn't make sense. If the ball hits the ground before leaving the field of play in fair territory it must be ruled a "ground rule double" NOT a homerun.

@@MontagnaMagica I think it's a bug. I highly doubt they programmed it based on time. It would be:
If leaves field of play in fair territory and never touched the ground, then home run.
If hit the ground then leaves the field of play past first or third base, then ground rule double.
It would NOT make sense to put it based on time:
If leaves field of play after (random number) 7 seconds, then home run.
@@holmj12 Maybe someone who has actually looked at the code could tell us for sure, but in my experience, a quick ground ball out of play there is a home run, and a towering fly ball that bounces slowly out of view is a ground rule double.

It's tin can alley where it's impossible to hit an out of the park Home Run. There are 2 fields on asphalt. I personally like this one more.
During a crazy bunt the ball will go airborne while changing directions. My theory is the ball was airborne when it left the screen/field of play so the game counted it as a home run. And then there must be a bug with it because the game is coded to know how a ground rule down works when a ball bounces over the fence.

Not sure what version you're playing, but Cement Yards *absolutely* had a dumpster in Center Field in the OG and a couple versions after. This would have to be 2004 or 2005 I think because the voice actors for Sunny & Vinny have changed
