Fun fact: because of Dior's exclusivity, 5000 of the pairs of these shoes went DIRECTLY to top level Dior clients. So really only 8000 or so were made availible to the public.

I appreciate that this is by far the most honest review of these I've seen so far. Enough time has passed that the hype has kind of died down and you're able to mention that it's not much of a step up from a regular Jordan 1 in terms of quality and build or even presentation and the price is primarily driven by hype I think even the retail price is only justified by the hype.
yeah it's just about showing that you have the money to own one of these. A shoe simply made for spoiled kids from super-rich parents

Union 1s are on the all time list for me definitely. I honestly loved the og travis scott 1 highs and the off white Chicago as well.

What I would do is find something like a brightly coloured scrap of felt or some other kinda thick cloth, and when closing the box, stuff it under the flap where the magnet is, to slightly reduce the strength of the magnets hold and also give you a quick visual clue about which side opens.
Or use the orientation of the Air Dior logo on the top of the lid and realise that the opening is below it.

Not even, they just absolutely bricked after release (I remember resell prices going for 20k after release) but have tanked badly

That is really not how it works. `you could probably get a pair of shoes for 500 minimum, if it was factory made and the designer was barely payed. `this shoe is handmade, so for each shoe an artisan needs to be payed to stitch each one the exact same way each time. Is it worth 2k, yes, but is it worth 12k, yeah no not at all. `but to say it is worth 2 dollars and only costs a lot because of the DIOR logo is so wrong its funny. Some guy literally ran them mud and compessed them with heavy machinery and it was barely damaged. For the 2 dollars it apparently cost, thats impressive.
I really liked the color blocking and oversized swoosh of these. It’s the reason I opted to getting reps of them.
I don't blame you but I guarantee you anyone looking down (99.8%) at your shoes that know about these already assume they are fake. Even if they were real they would assume it, but that's why I would never buy the real and wear them. Actually for that reason i wouldn't wear these as UAs But so what, rock them no matter what others think.

Watched a video of these things being ran over by heavy machinery multiple times and still were held together. Shows you the quality of these shoes which I at first was skeptical on.
I was able to get the lows for retail. didn’t even want them and definitely didn’t think I would get selected when I put my name in the drawing but when I was picked I couldn’t not buy them. I’m glad I did because I love them now.

a sneaker is worth the price of a car only beacause of the exclusivity that it is 1 of only x made worldwide . And the materials donot cost even 200$ to make true . But you''re paying for the fact that you own something not everyone has , neither can everyone afford . Let me take the example of autograph . An autograph prolly takes 30 cents to make ... just a pen and paper but it is sold for thousands of dollars only because of the fact that it is exclusive and not everyone can get that easily . It is 1 of 200 autographs worldwide given by that celeb . You are paying for the exclusivity ... Understood ???

People nowadays value these than what is important in real life.
Seth can never keep his story straight with these sneakers. Claims he spent $8000 dollars, only spent $7500. Claims he used $20 to buy the sneakers but literally sold himself a bunch of sneakers including the kanye's to make the video. Claims this shoe is worth $10,000 but several times admits it's worth ~$9000.

$500for UA is over priced. Should be less than $200 for some top of the line. However, you are probably right about being robbed if you take the subway. It's not worth it. And even worst I wouldn't doubt someone has been killed for a fake Rolex.
