Never heard of Wrexham before them, i hope it all works out
In fact, it already
Awesome news! đ
"At no cost"?
It cost them 2.5 million USD.
That amount went towards the club's infrastructure.
@@maniawrexhamafcfans With respect, you are incorrect. If you watch S02E12 of WTW, around the 14min mark of the episode, they discuss "how much money they are losing". They specifically mention the 2M to buy the club separate from the additional 8.8M they put in.
Itâs good for both clubâs
thanks for the comment
2.5 million is a bargain in hindsight!
true
No cost is wrong. Simple research will show you that they purchased the club for 2.5 million from the Wrexham Supporters Trust and who had originally saved the club (people of the town). I'll almost subscribed to this channel till I realized I week the research is,
Hello friend, yes they invested this amount in the club, it was not to buy the club, it was free of charge but with a commitment to invest 2.5 million or more in the club.

@@maniawrexhamafcfans Here is one that I found. The $2.5 million purchase price paid by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney for Wrexham AFC was received by the Wrexham Supporters' Trust. The Trust was the entity overseeing the club at the time and represented the interests of the supporters and members who collectively owned Wrexham AFC. The sale was approved after a vote among the Trust's members, who overwhelmingly supported the takeover by Reynolds and McElhenney. This transaction marked a significant shift towards new ownership aimed at revitalizing and advancing the club through substantial financial and promotional supportâ (The Independent)â.
Top club in Wales?
So they have started selling their stake in Wrexham already
Could be a problem
Only 5% but they get more celebrity power in return. Not bad if you ask me
who are nataxa? sounds like a medicine? what are the side affects?
Necaxa, a pro team in Mexico's top league
First of all you didnât even spell it right Foo necaxa
No cost? What?
At no cost, but with a commitment to invest in the club's infrastructure.
@@maniawrexhamafcfans They took on debt and purchased for over 2 million.
No cost!? Wtf are you talking about
Yes, at no cost, but with a commitment to invest 2.5 million in infrastructure.
@@maniawrexhamafcfans learn your facts, Rob has publicly said he "paid" 2 mil for the ownership of the club..plus all the other investments him and Ryan have made so far
Check your facts mate. So many lapses đ
You can check friend
Necaxa ain't a big club

Please no oil money
Nah, Necaxa has nothing to do with Wrexham. They just invested in a football club in Mexico along with a lot of other people. From what I know this won't affect Wrexham at all.
@@sinep4371 If anything, this might help Wrexham more; the team might have a pipeline into getting talent out of Latin America.
Agreed 100%. Oil money is filthy and it dirties up anything it touches.
I would have also said 'No American money', based on the likes of the Kroenkes, Henry and Glazers, who know NOTHING about football or UK culture, and see "soccer" fans as a cash cow.
McElhenney and Reynolds have proved to be the exact opposite of those greedy c^nts. Now they have Eva Longoria investing in the club, and I like this trend. Hollywood money is a LOT cleaner than that of some shady bunch of Saudi gangsters, with their questionable morals and disgusting record on women's and gay rights.
