It's a nice and clean tutorial. I do think the editor is anoying since all the models and splines of the streets and junctions are named according to the original Spandau map with street names and not like "2 lanes with lines and pavement" or something like that. It takes a long time to find the right street you want.
I can't find the spleens, only splines!!!

I've got several questions...
1. How can I put my own buses into map (I want mercedes citaro O530 Wien model and MAN Citybus series Red/Rot model)
2. Whenever and AI bus passes it only shows line number (it should be written as 13 DOWNTOWN - PT. SQUARE - EA. STATION, yet it only shows 13 and empty space)
You can put your own buses into a map by editing the AI List. Change the file path of the bus used to the one you want to see (in your case, "Vehicles/MB_O530/MB_O530.bus), and the signs are empty because either you didn't enter the destination properly, or it does not exist in the HOF file that the map utilizes:

Thanks, I always had an idea for a map, but never knew how to create it. Gonna try to make Stockholm bus line 524, Upplands Väsby-Arninge. A bus I rode on many times as a kid.
Same thing that made me start on a route in my city :). Though it is a long way from being finished.

Hi when I tried to make a new map it said that the template is compatible with a previous OMSI 2 version. How can I fix?
My splines wont attach to the junction objects! Please help me :) Thanks in advance
Sometimes they disappear upon attaching to a spline. After you attach, press G, and click somewhere along the spline. It should appear then.

How do you line up the roads properly? As I can only drag it manually into the right place. For example, you do this at 6:25 .

i cant put the splines into the map
Hey. I was working on a map since April of last year. Few days ago an error displayed that my map was using the old version of OMSI and that I need to convert it (but I use the same game for 2 years, I haven't reinstalled or anything). I was able to convert it and then when I want to load it in the editor it displays error called: "Fehler bei Bereichsprüfung", and now I can't do anything. I was pretty close to finishing my map, it was a 10 month work. Do you have any idea how could I at least save my progress so I can continue working on it. Thanks in advance.

Thomas Cotelli If you select an object in list on the right window, you’ll have to press N in order to place it on the map. In rare cases, it will appear at the corner of a tile.

Yes, you can. You have to create the mesh in Blender (there are other programs, but this is the easiest) then you texture it. I made another video that explains most of this process

Is it possible to export the map to some 3d software like maya then export it for other games like GTA5
I know it sounds silly and crazy
It is not. Even if you did get it exported, it would be encrypted, and in a format GTA V or any other game wouldn't recognize.

Omsi is a really good game but poor optimization
but the developer could fix that would be much better

Nic Playz You can revert pretty much any work you did by just not saving it. But there is no Undo function.

KPGS Records There should be a cutout like that available for the mainstream 11m road. Did you need it for a specific size road?

Another question... How can i connect 2 path segments. I've been trying to do this for 3 days but I'm out of ideas. I tried shift-clicking but it's not working it says: ''Path segment not connected to the next segment'' and ''Path segment not connected to the next segment''

How Can I put down entrypoint?
Find the entrypoint object (Sceneryobjects\Generic\entrypoint_bus.sco). When loaded, press N to place. You will need to give it a name for it to work correctly.
