USSR lost more civilians than soldiers...
I will add this here.
Murmansk - After failing to take the city, nazis dropped over 185,000 bombs on the city, Murmansk was barely bombed less than Stalingrad. 3/4 of buildings city had were obliterated. After making sure they have no chance in taking the city, nazis chose to tear it down COMPLETELY WITH ITS CITIZENS. Nazis knew the city was mostly wooden, so they dropped bombs that started fires to turn it into ash.
Petrozavodsk - Finns built 10 concentration camps in the city and surroundings. Conditions were comparable to nazi concentration camps. I saw a picture of kids there, condtitions werent much better than in nazi concentration camps
Leningrad (aka. St Petersburg) - The city was blockaded for 872 days. After the blockade, out of pre-war 3 million people only 500K were staying. Only a tiny part died to bombings. Most died of hunger
Smolensk - In the city and province nazis burned over 5000 houses of innocent civilians. 300 of them were burned together with people who lived there. In Smolensk itself, Nazis destroyed 7300 buildings out of 8000 that were there (91% of everything the city had, nazis destroyed)
Kiev - Nazis would execute over 50k innocents in less than a week. There was also a death camp (concentration camp but instead of upkeeping the prisoners they would be killed) near it.

Hello I from Russia accidentally stumbled upon your video. You described the regions quite well and that in them my great-grandfather lived in Solnechnogorsk. It was not very far from Moscow to it came Germans but to my surprise he did not kill or take captivity. But simply took his cows well and other animals I just wanted to say what was happening at that time it was impossible to pass it it was necessary thank you for making this video
RSFSR
East = 🗿
West = ☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️
War was more extreme in the west
@@---Dr._Eggman--- i know right ☠️
My region (Tuva) isn't here bc it joined USSR only in 1944, but according to my calculations it would be phase 37-42
Nice work 🎉🎉
Fun Fact: Phase 208 looks similar to Phase 16 while Phase 207 looks similar to Phase 17
Bro 50 minutes long!? We'll have a good time to relax and see, how uncanny it was
I still find it hard to believe how many times 203 and 205 showed up in this one, like wow...
I just got the cold after 2 years and it felt like the Bubonic Plague, but not even close.

IM EXCITED :D
Come and See is a Good film to watch
Canniest phase: -95 (Khirgriz SSR)
Uncanniest phase: -205 (BSSR and Karelo-Finnish SSR)
22:23 song name?
so much variation moment
How many ET3 phases were in there?
I thought Kazakh SAR 193 is phase 194?
i actually live in arkhangelsk, and (if i remember correctly) arkhangelsk had the second highest amount of people who died of famine (the highest was leningrad), and it's even scarier when you know that arkhangelsk was the biggest port accepting american lend-lease (including food). can't even imagine how horrible life in my hometown was during this period.
crazy how your grandpa survived
Imagine he does a Germany after Ww2 mapping
Why were the territories of the Soviet Union that were not invaded by Germany, such as Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, uncanny?
Famines and poverty
Not like they would be canny under Stalin's rule, I would know
Yeah Stalin always not stopped the famine on Kazakhstan so War has ended with Kazakh helps because kazakh has got USSR flag into Berlin at 1945, but Stalin not stopped
Just because you’re unoccupied doesn’t mean you’re unaffected
@@RazorSharpMC What word can you say you know fully history
Ay let's go!

WARNING: TOO MANY JUMPSCARES!
Kalininsky is not 63 phase, check "Battles of Rzhev" (a.k.a. "Rzhev Meat Grinder"). Its really uncanny shit.
@@gospod_bog7 the battle itself would be VERY uncanny, but this doesnt apply to the entire region, and I know exactly what you are referring to.
Why does Lithuania have eastern Kaliningrad?
question we can't answer
BUT MY HOPE WILL NEVER DIEEEEEEEEEEEEE 🔥🔥🔥📻📻📻🗣🗣🗣

En la URSS no había alguna ciudad en la que se vivía mejor en ese entonces? ☹️
Why is Yakutia so uncanny?
Famine and mass military casualties led to 20%+ dead
@@KunaProductionsmilitary casualties fighting who exactly? The Japanese didn't actually invade Russia, even though Germany wanted them to.
@@babymetalenjoyer I think he means like people getting conscripted from Yakutia, and mass famine was prominent as it was really rural part of Russia, and alot of the food was going to the frontlines.
