Visit this little gem on your first day and you will be back again and again, they have sausage rolls, pasties, sandwiches, baguettes, jacket potatoes and much more, they even do an airport package for your trip home. Calling it Benidorm's answer to Greggs really doesn't do it justice. This place is a little gem and one of the best places to eat in Benidorm.

@@TheMacMaster 27 years ago flying to San Francisco my taste returned for 3 minutes. I scoffed the food left-overs. Cabin crew thought I was crazy! My wife explained. 60 seconds later, couldn't taste a thing.
For those who haven’t experienced Benidorm the MacMasters videos tells it all, I’ve been going to Benidorm for years, The MacMasters information is brilliant, I don’t know this guy but follow his videos, and must say very accurate, and first class honest information at your finger tips 👍🏻

Eaten there a few times food always great . Baguettes for airport brilliant and staff great 👍🏴
Visited a few weeks ago just before they had a refit was very good and friendly staff no complaints.

It all looked pretty good especially the items in the bakery!
Apparently the pies and pasties are made on the premises and that ham looked really lean and tasty. Not the rubbery stuff you get in a sandwich at greggs.
I had a lovely small breakfast there earlier in the year, they also had blankets on the back of outside chairs in case it was cold ! Food looked good, lovely with your memories of your Mum.

In the early days of Greggs they used to get local companies to bake their bake off products to a certain recipe. There was a company in Shirebrook that used to supply Greggs shops in that area. He used to sell also to independent cafes, I remember buying Greggs sausage rolls in a box of 100 for 25p each. I used to sell them for 50p which was 10p cheaper than Greggs but the supplier said if I mention they were the same ones as in Greggs he would stop selling them to me 🤣

Yorkshire Gold Tea - it is good - it is available on import here in Canada. The Best tea (in my humble opinion) in the UK is Glengettie from Wales. Available in bags and loose (the very best if you can find it) throughout Wales and the border counties.

Baguette looked good. Proper ham, not plastic stuff. Not keen on the sausage roll, too much air. The cheese pasty looked good, thankfully, for your Mum's sake. Lovely photos of you both together. You clearly love your parents & always speak about them. Like you say they never really leave you whilst they live on in your heart ❤
For frozen pies baked off they look decent. Over here Bako Northwest supply these to Bakery’s who don’t want to bake.
It’s called simply delicious for a reason 👍. My favourite is the mince beef and onion pie . They do a cracking brekky as well 😎
Ah now, I have been to this establishment a few years ago. We were staying in that large apartment block opposite, but spent most of our time in the place opposite Greggs. The Union Jack,
Excellent English breakfasts and cheap drinks!!
But we did venture across to "Greggs" and I had the baguette. Absolutely worth every penny!!!!

Hi lee, you totally need to try the curry leaf it’s owned by a lovely family and the food is so good we’re over in 6 weeks and can’t wait to go we eat there. The sandwich shop looked really good I’m sure we will pop in while there I see they do an afternoon tea that might be nice.
I was working in Nottingham and came across a bakery chain like greggs called Birds, their hot pork, stuffing and apple sauce cob was bloody good.
Caramel donuts are to die for!
Birds have been going donkeys years, me Grandma, grhs, used to take me in there for a sausage roll when I was 8 to 10 yrs old 👍
For me Birds sells better quality food and it felt more like a bakery that I remember from my childhood days than Greggs

My mum says it reminds her of sandwich shops when she worked in the city in the 80s, could basically have any combo roll you wanted. Kind of a greggs - subway fusion but nicer.
In the uk it's a ham and cheese roll, in France it's a baguette and in Spain it's a bocadillo. "Hope spelling right"
I love Greggs cheap and cheerful and I really enjoy a yum yum with a nice coffee I'm booking my hol in a few weeks to the amazing benidorm can't wait 😊 thanks Lee enjoy your Easter break 😊😀
Been many times Lee and yes the packed lunch for the flight home is brilliant until i started getting it i just went hungry the food at airport so pricy and tasteless another 10 from me

Lee let's hope you don't get heart burn afterwards like a lot of people do when they have a Greg's I think they must have shares in gaviscon I'm with you though on the baguette the ham was nice and dry not like that wet stuff out of the packet and the salad was nice and fresh to provide that all needed crunch great vlog my friend and nice to see your mam is always with you

You can't beat ravenshead farm shop sausage rolls back in the uk.95% pure quality meat, 5% proper pastry.making sound effects with every bite.

Greggs is about speed and convenience, if everyone was happy to wait while they cook it to order the food would be a lot better.

For anyone staying in an apartment rather than a hotel there is also an Iceland not much further down the road!! As for Gregg's it has to be Sausage, Bean and Cheese slice, I just cannot remember the last time I had one that wasn't stone cold!
Lee, remember when primark was selling greggs merchandise. I heard in leeds they have a greggs cafe inside primark in the Trinity.
Greggs is one place I didn't try while I was in the UK. Mostly was in Tesco for snacks. I understand they are completely different.
