I’m a Pens fan but loved Rick Rypien!! When he passed no lie I shed some tears.. I battled depression myself and it can really destroy you..
I used to live in Dubai, and traveled between there, Vancouver and Perth Australia, and every time I was in Van I'd get tickets to see the Canucks play. Bieksa and Burrows were my favorite players, both long shots to make the NHL, they were tenacious. I remember watching Juice trip guys behind the play and pretending he didn't do it. He'd see a guy skating past him, he'd see the refs weren't watching, and he'd just poke his stick out quickly and trip them then just ignore them when they came after him. He'd have this "what? I didn't do anything" expression and the other guy would cross check him and get a penalty for roughing or cross checking. I used to laugh at his antics. Just a real character, on and off the ice.

At the start of a season, I always think 94 points is what you need to get in. Usually a few points less, but to be sure 94 points. They can only make 91, and they'll need a lot of luck and 4 straight to get in with 91. if I was Torts, I would tell the guys they're out, just go out and have fun and play for your job next season.

Definitely, it's nuts.
I'm not a Jets fan but few people (that should know) are not talking about the Jets.
They just finished a road trip & beat Nashville & then shutout Dallas 3-0 & destroyed Colorado 7-0.
Colorado is a disaster.
They basically have to score 4 goals to win a game & it's April & they don't know who their starting goaltender is.
