No, because she clearly said she only wears it for special occasions. Also I grew up around women, who mainly relied on their natural looks. Which is perfectly fine, my family didn't rely on Makeup heavily but there was occasions such as Major Church events, Celebrations, or even long overdue family gatherings. These moments I sat downstairs on a couch for 2 almost 3 hours as my family Dolled themselves up and made sure they looked the best they could. Because I am a living witness of women who wear makeup 5% of the year but they still took a long time to get ready, I do not see the conflict in her logic.

As a person who is heavily invested with their faith, Prayer and Encouragement goes a lot further than you can expect. Human Emotion is very powerful, though I agree the solution to the problem is 100% adoption or at least re-unification to families that are looking and seeking for their children. At the end of the day, people do not always have the ability's to solve the problems even if you have provided a solution. Even at points in the darkest periods in my life it was not what people did that always fixed whatever I was suffering from. It was someone simply saying something like "God will never leave you nor forsake you" or "Yeah you fell again, but the real victory comes from being able to get back up again". Words of encouragement are very powerful, its the reason why MORAL is important to militaries. Its easy to shoot someone and tell your troops, follow my example. Sure, but its more impactful to express to them the importance of what your example leads to, "Do this for your families". You will get more of a reaction in a situation with encouragement. At the end of the day though, I believe people will approach situations in the ways that are within their capabilities. If at the end of the day a simple "You got this" can just affect the mentality of just one person, its not a wasted effort.
