Happy 4 th Larson Farms. Just a small request Chet. Could you put a date when you record your videos. I understand you are about 4 weeks behind and your mother posts the same day. Thanks.
Chet, please wear ppe especially on your hands when handling chemicals. Long range effects. I lost my brother from handling and spraying chemicals without protection. Be Safe.😊
My grandfather lived into his 90s and they sprayed DDT, etc. Probably would have lived longer if he didn't smoke unfiltered camels his whole life. All kinds of chemicals banned now. I remember as a kid being covered in chemicals and things like copper dust etc on the farm cause I was small enough to get into spaces the adults couldn't. They even sprayed waste oil on the dirt to keep the dust down in the old days. I also remember when you had to have full PPE suits at 1 point. Hell we stood under the crop dusters in the field just to watch them up close and personal as kids. Stuff that is sprayed now is nothing. The big issue farmer's face as do most who live in rural areas with shallow water tables is the amount of chemicals in the water table that go back 10 to 100 years ago. My mother never messed with the chemicals, etc on the farm, but yet she's had 2 different types of cancer and 3 different times in 73 years. Former 5th gen farmer from central Wis who's in his mid 50s.
All the knowledge demonstrated about farming and farm equipment by these guys always impresses me! I suppose it should be expected since this is their livelihood, but it is still pretty amazing.
All of the crew is very knowledgeable about the practices you use around the farm. Eric does a really good job of explaining so a non-farmer can understand. I really enjoy watching the channel.
@@dougkaylor2528 breakdown the cost of all of it, deisel, fertilizer, worker pay , insurance, time, etc over profit , most small farmers are just getting bye. The larsons may be doing very well and if so good for them but i was speaking of farming in general. I should have made that clearer.

Love that for non farmers you explain everything so clearly. Great fun editing and loved the drone shots and Chets smile when it landed perfect on the hood of the truck.
Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. Eric thanks for talking about the sprayer operation. Was very interesting. You are very knowledgeable on the sprayer operation. Also thanks for you and Chet talking about the different chemicals you use. Found that most interesting. Lots of different chemicals to use on different crops. The new demo sprayer you got is a super one. Technology is taking over running these machines. Beautiful sprayers Chet. Seems the pull type sprayers are the most popular. The drone footage was great. Thanks for doing that. Appreciate you going over the new sprayer and how it operates. Most interesting. Thanks. Looking forward to more info on your sprayer operation. About it for now. Thanks for everything Larsons and crew. The Iowa Farm Boy. Steve.
Love all that new awesome equipment. I grew up running tractors and equipment, but nothing like this. You do a great job explaining everything. Cool video. 👍❤️
Eric did a great job of telling us what chemicals that gets used on the fields and different crops. Chet could you put a bigger water pump on water tank at the yard. Brody looked very happy to see the new sprayer. God bless and stay safe
Chet Eric Broodie great explanations on the new sprayer and the chem.mixes Chet and Eric thank you for sharing and your time was really great never miss a video and can't wait for next video thank you
I’ve got to hand it to Larson farms,If anybody who’s looking for a job to do farming Larson is the place to be always getting the most updated equipment, electronics, just all the bells and whistles that any farmer could get. ❤️🔥🔥🫵🫵🫵👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Really good content today from Eric giving a detailed run through the products applied, what they do, the sprayer ops KING! Keep up with the good work guys.
Did I miss the part where you explained why pull type sprayers are better? I'm praying for you to have rain like we are getting here in Maine and for a safe, successful season.
How coming from people that don’t own one if they looked what is out there now Agrifac 150ft booms 10000lr tanks 65 kmh road speed i’d like to see there tractor do that there point is mute when they comment without seeing the other side
I like those sprayers but I like Hagie sprayers best they can be used for doing side dressing and spraying tasled corn with fungicide instead of hiring a plane
Crops look good, as far as trying to dial in the leaving space at your head lands, which I assume you have to set for each different field, why not shut off your inside row on your last pass as you are outlining? basically that would give you exactly one row corn snout width.

Awesome video. Remember you can plant more in a sway...ie row.
Eric did a bang-up job explaining the spraying action and thoroughly enjoyed the information. New sprayer..........nice.
I can't imagine what Larson Farms spends on chemicals! Wow!
Not much compared to here.
Chet really needs to get rid of the snow in the introduction. 😮
Larson boys another good video! Hard workers good to see god bless ! U guys work good together
It's time to get rid of your Winter opening and get some nice Minnesota green fields. Thistle is the national flower of Scotland.
Happy Independence Day to the Larson farm’s family and extended family from the Banner family.
Hope you guys all had a great 4th of July. Love Brody’s shirt!!

I have set sprayer with 10" nozzles, could run 05's on 10" up to 17. mph! Then turn them off for other work and go back to 20".

Hey Chet. I didn’t realize you guys have gophers down there. I farm in Saskatchewan and we have lots of gophers. Little buggers can eat a lot.

Love the new editing of the videos. Thanks for all you do!!

Chet time to change your intro video. Who wants to see snow this time of year?
Can you get to try a hagie? Or a fendt? Would be cool to see

amazing video. nice new machine..thank you guys
Have been watching the Millennial Farmer spraying with his SP Deere. He spends way more time filling. Nothing like volume .
Nice new sprayer, you might have to keep it just cause tracks are so hard to find
This episode of Larson Farms is Farmyard Foreman Toby approved. I'm sure JM's dogs approve too.
You need my well here in West Virginia. 80 plus gallons a minute.
Speaking of wind. Our winds are almost nonexistent.
Just hot, humid and dry. Yes all three.
Maybe try looking into a 2 water storage tank as well the water well supply n pump running through fill water filling.
Happy 4th Larsons
Chet where's your rubber gloves handling those herbicides? I just care about you
ERIC grab the rattle can black and fix Chets windshield wiper arm

Have y'all ever considered putting in another well with a submersible pump that pumps 45 gallons per minute?
I was droning some fireworks in Vegas. Nice shots!!!

Happy 4th Larson's & Crew!
Hey Chet the innovations are great but you still need Brody there to keep it honest 👍
Thanks!
Crops look good, as far as trying to dial in the leaving space at your head lands, which I assume you have to set for each different field, why not shut off your inside row on your last pass as you are outlining? basically that would give you exactly one row corn snout width.
Overlap should only need set once per year. And can be set to leave a gap like chet was talking about so shutting a row off is unnecessary.
What’s a bigger problem; waterhemp or whatever keeps eating all the big Swedes shirt sleeves?
Chat, please wear gloves when handling chemicals, over time it will catch up to you.

Not from chemicals
