This totally worked on my Jaguar XF! I first tried both alcohol and ammonia (Windex) with no luck, but the make-up wipes worked like a charm! Thanks for the video!

I have a 2013 camper and the whole radio/dvd player face plate is or was sticky. I tried different cleaning products and failed every time. I tried the face wipes and the radio looks and feels brand new. Thank you for posting this tip!!!

I did mine - 2013 xf: 1) buy an artist brush(medium soft filament) 2) dip brush into liquid laundry detergent( wife uses Arm and Hammer)brush soap onto sticky areas and wait 5 to 10 minutes, 3) get a small dry cotton cloth, wrap it around your pinky and remove the sticky junk, and finally 4) use a damp towel to wipe off any leftovers. Now if this old geezer could only figure out the GPS!

Thank you. Used the wipes with some elbow grease and then took off the rest with alcohol and a microfiber cloth.

Thanks for the suggestion I used alcohol pads for mine and the buttons look like new with minimal effort. Hope this helps. Use window cleaner to remove the haze.

Just curious as to why they would try to charge to replace the same buttons that came from the factory/dealer already sticky.. good job.
