Here's a new compilation video featuring footage of 20 of my scratch built classic trucks doing their thing.
For the last few months of winter, I've been slowly going through all the old vids on my channel, picking my favourite bits and editing them into this compilation. It was lots of work but really got me pumped up for spring. I also had to add lots of clips of my cat buddies Orangez(10yrs) and Curtis(19yrs) too of course. Hope you enjoy the sights and sounds of these little trucks as much as i do. I've got more builds coming soon and plans for a new build video too. Thanks for watching and subscribing to my channel. I do not monetize or take sponsorship to keep everything commercial free. Just creativity and simple joy celebrated here.
But if you're curious of what parts i've used that i could not make myself, see info below.
You can see all my build threads at ScaleBuildersGuild.

*Some truck details (material and chassis)
1998 Cherokee - komacel(pvc sheet) on stock Axial SCX10-2 chassis.
1966 Bronco - pine wood/komacel details on Axial SCX10 chassis with leafed rear.
1967 Jeep Rural - komacel on homemade frame with Losi mini crawler axles and trans.
1998 Toyota 4runner - komacel/abs on Tamiya CC01.
1964 International Harvester stepside pickup - komacel on stock Axial SCX10 chassis.
1970 Jeep CJ5 (komacel),
1967 IH Scout (pine wood),
Toyota FJ45 pickup (mdf board/komacel),
1960 Dodge M37 (komacel), and the
Series III Land Rover (pine wood/komacel) ride on a GCM 4ten chassis with front mount Axial trans and leafed rc4wd K44 axles.
1960 Jeep FC170 (komacel),
1967 Dodge A100 (pine wood/komacel),
1964 Toyopet Stout (komacel), and the
1987 Dodge Ram Charger ride on a straight rail chassis, Axial trans and rc4wd trex60 axles. In some clips it has Axial scx10 axles.
1977 Ford (pine wood/komacel),
1957 Ford (pine wood/komacel),
1965 Chevy (pine wood/komacel),
1967 Fargo (pine wood/komacel),
1970 Chevy Blazer (pine wood/komacel) and the
1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer (pine wood/komacel) ride on a straight rail chassis with front mounted Axial trans, GCM transfer case and leaf mounted Axial scx10 axles.
If you can't tell what wheels are in a clip, they've probably been modified. I made some rims from plastic Tamiya hummers and HPI car wheels . The custom Wagoneer rims and 5 slots were made by GCM. Others are rc4wd.
Same goes for tires, most are rc4wd or pitbull.
My electronics rotate around sometimes but besides the messed up glitchy traxxas 1/16 setup in the Jeep Rural, it's one of these three - Stock whiney Axial brushed set up from RTR, an old grindy Novak 21.5 brushless Goat set up, or a smooth quiet Tekin FXR brushed.
Camera - Canon 60D
Thanks for all the nice comments folks. More new vids coming soon. :)
You are awesome my youtube friend. I love the detail of your trucks. They look like the real deal. Enjoy watching your video's
The use of wood in your vehicles gives them sufficient scale weight that dampens excess movement. Which makes them look totally freaking real when driven on rough terrain. Outstanding.
Excellent work, all the way around, but my favorite part was the cat not letting the Ramcharger cross the bridge. Cool cat.
10/10 for:
Awesome, always a pleasure checking out what you got going on,and to see kitty kitty. Good job as always my brother, thanks for sharing
Squeak, rattle, and roll ! Love the cats ! Oh, and the trucks !
that Grand wagoneer is a work of art, possibly the most beautiful RC body I've ever seen!
Your '77 Ford videos are what inspired me to get into scale RC. I grew up in old Ford trucks. Love the cat, too.
Love Oranges. She’s so chill, but also a diva queen.
I am in awe with these trucks. They are so realistic. Some of the best I've ever seen for sure.
One car is more beautiful than the other. Hard to name a favorite.
Great video. Whoever gave thumbs down is completely ignorant
10/10 for everything mate + Orangez and Curtis. You have a gift!
Tough time deciding what I enjoy more....your fantastic kitty or your fantastic fleet!
Amazing talent and attention to detail. Plus your trucks really have that rugged look to them 👍👍👍
the true exact to scale models you build just blows me away. You are an artist.
Rc trucks & cats rule!!!
I will take my hat off to you sir, best vids , best builds , more please .
you sir are the best to ever do it, and I say that with complete confidence.
