Yeah I like those skylights, great idea there.
Thanks 👍
I really liked your series. You said you have another ADU project coming up in the future -- I do hope you're able to film more aspects of the build, time permitting. Have you watched the Perkins Builder Brothers channel? They do some good videos showing all the little details that they go through. Very informative, and fun. Good luck with your next project!
More to come!
looks great!
Glad you like it
do you find the fridge-dishwasher-sink-stove placement functional? I am considering the same layout but with more space in between them
The layout works great for this size apartment. Allows for the bar as a workspace or for dining. If you have more room by all means use it. But this is no kitchenette. Having a full kitchen is important to some clients
Thanks for the video. Do you mind sharing the model number of the washer and dryer? How far the dryerbox from the floor? Thanks and keep on the good work!!
Hi, this is the LG dryer model that I used. Model -#DLG3401W, pair w/ WM3400CW washer. On this model the dryer duct stubs out directly in the center of the unit. Center of the duct outlet is 4" above the height of the washer. You can also get a side vent kit if you need. My recommendation is to go into your appliance retailer and find a W/D pair on display that you like, bring a tape so that you can get the exact measurements that you need. If you use the dryer box make sure it sits low enough for the vent hose to freely enter the box and make a sweeping 90. It's easy to think the bottom of the dryer box should line up with the bottom of the vent hose, but you want it lower so you can push your dryer back as much as possible. Hope that is clear...
How much did the project cost?
