Over the last few months voice assistant integration on headphones has become increasingly popular. It all started with the Bose QC35âs, now the majority Sonyâs headphones supports both google and Alexa voice assistant integration, and now Appleâs latests AirPods and Powerbeats Pro have always listening Siri. And adding voice assistant integration is the main focus of JBLâs latests crop of ANC headphones. So today weâre going to checkout the new JBL Live 650BTNC⊠theyâre ok but I would have liked to have seen more.

These headphones are great if you are looking for a real solid sound. They donât give you some surround, but if you download the JBL app, just turn on the bass, or if you prefer deeper bass sound (not at max volume), turn on the ANC + Jazz option and youâll be impressed. And all together with the Dolby Atmos option on your phone you will get what you are looking for. And there is Alexa and Voice assistant as well.
The microphone test brought me to tears. Thanks for including that in that was awesome.
Got mine as a gift. Using it now on this video. Its really a good headphone. A bit tight. But maybe it will get more comfy with more use.
They get comfy over time because they have memory foam

Lol ive never found a need for it.
I never use it. But the action button on my Bose QC 35II I use it to toggle in between noise cancellation because I have to sacrifice the action button. đ

Man I've been watching your videos for a really long time and I love your freaking videos man they're are fun and non-boring AT ALL.
So, not sure how many people notice or will have watched enough of videos about the JBL500BTNCs to notice, but this guy does an incredibly thorough review. Like as in no other video on these is even close. Eazy subscribe.
I found that so absurd at the time. The LIVE 650 have ANC but no Ambimode, the live 500 have an AmbiMode but no ANC.
The mesh design on their headband is a major flaw as it is very hard to clean specially if you use it in gym

So in reality against Bose qc35 or Sony wh-1000x M3, the JBL Live 650 have an extremely bad ANC, it's really amazing how well you can get this across.

HELP. I bought a pair of these but the wireless mode is not very loud, while the wired mode is significantly louder. I called customer support and we tried resetting the headphones multiple times to try to fix it but nothing. I exchanged them for a replacement pair which I just got today but I am still having the same issue. Has anyone else had this problem?

They're okay, or for the price of $ 100 I got them, they're really good. ANC comes with a loud background noise and ANC isnt really good, but they fit neatly, tightly, but you can still have them on for a long time. And the bass is simply unbeatable at JBL and "hear-thru" they do better than Sony, for example...
In my opinion, the JBL live 500 have an even better sound and a better bass, especially because of the 50mm driver, I guess. However, they are without ANC and without memory foam padding, which is a shame.

And for the fact that you can get them here for $ 100 and the JBL live 500 for $ 70, they have a BETTER build quality than the Sony wh-1000x M3 or the wh1000xm 4, which cost about 300-400 dollars, because they have y their known problem with the squeaking hinges and cheap plastic

You have made to many mistakes in your veiws, 1. Nitpicking on jbl all the time, always comparing them to Much more expensive pairs of headphones 2. Praising audio Technica 3. You don't know how to configure Sony headphones. The Sony headphones are the highest quality sound but are tuned down for shipping to save battery life but I do admit there for experienced users, 4. Your reviews leave me more confused then before I watched them.

JBL makes good speakers.
But their headphones are pretty garbage.
Id steer clear of these and go with Sony.
Sony is pretty much the best consumer headphone company at the moment.
The Ultimate Slayer have you owned a pair? I own jbl proudly and love them. I donât find them garbage and find them very good especially considering the cost vs value debate. Yes Sony and Bose are great but jbl is underrated and very respectable

Returned them for horrible connection issues.
Not getting loud enough.
And poor build quality.
Also owned the On ear everest 300's.
Returned them for being uncomfortable.
And finally ive owned the under armour work out on ear headphones.
Which i returned for being incredibly uncomfortable and not sounding that great.

But their headphones are severely lacking behind the competition out there.
And from my experience,
Arent a great brand when it comes to headphones.
