- THIS IS NOT A TUTORIAL It is more of a daily personal diary, or perhaps a vlog, centered around the building of plastic model ships. Don’t be surprised when I unexpectedly, but usually just momentarily, get into something completely unrelated. I was big into building models years ago. Apparently I’m trying to bring back “the good old days” by building plastic model ships. Feel free to learn from my mistakes while I muddle through this.

Ron p’ your videos are daily blogs and are perfect. Yesterday I sprayed the lower hull of my 1/16 M10 IIC and did not record it. It would have slowed me down looking a the monitor to see if I was on the screen😢 Happy everything Ron

Yes! If it wasn't for the fact that I like the videoing aspect, I wouldn't bother with the camera either. Videoing likely makes a build 5 times longer. 👍

Good episode today Ron. After seeing some of that mr hobby paint I think I’ll stick with Tamyia. My shop doesn’t carry it either. Take care n see you tomorrow.
Hi Chris. I am sorry that I got stuck with this Mr Hobby paint as well. I should have gone 100% with the Tamiya. It is so much more readily available. 👍
Hi Ron, good episode, I use tamiya and Vallejo out of the two Vallejo I use 80% more but I'll be seeing you later. 🖌️👍🌟
Mr Hobby/Mr Color is a broader color range than Tamiya and is often "matched" to a color standard like FS, RAL, and so forth. Tamiya often has to be mixed to meet those. Also, Mr Hobby was pulled from the North American market about 20 years ago because their labels didn't meet California environmental standards. It is slowly becoming available again.

Hi Ron if Max doesn't mind could you share some info about him? How long have you been neighbors and where did he work before retiring? I totally understand if he would rather not. He seems like a great guy!
