Our Durango, Colorado Experience: A Must Visit Town!

Join us as we make it into Durango, Colorado, and discover how amazing this town is!
Our journey north towards Durango was filled with breathtaking badlands and stunning views. In Durango, we enjoyed a picturesque campground with an 86° water pool, sampled authentic New Mexican cuisine at Gaspachos restaurant, and immersed ourselves in local traditions like adding chilies to everything. Our adventures included attending a 4th of July parade, witnessing fireworks against a mountain backdrop, exploring scenic drives to Lemon and Valecito Reservoirs, and even experiencing a rare snowy day in July (or was it????). We also indulged in cultural experiences, such as purchasing authentic Navajo artwork, enjoying a cowboy-themed dinner and entertainment at Bar D Chuckwagon Supper, and delving into the history of downtown Durango through historic hotels like the Strater and General Palmer.
